Prepara Herb Savor Eco, White/Green

I was pretty skeptical, so 4 weeks ago, I bought a bunch of parsley to give it a test. Turns out to be one of my better purchases ever. The product says it can keep greens fresh for up to three weeks. Now, maybe it's because we keep our fridge a little colder, but the first image shows how that bunch looks 3 days into week 5. And yes, I'm storing it in the door. I broke down and used some a few days ago and it's still as fresh and fragrant as it was day one. Stems are still substantial and not floppy. Fragrant even when opening the case without having to bruise leaves to release it. The second image is the first time I had to cut the bottom 1/8 inch off, as well as a few leaves off because they were starting to barely brown ... and that was just TODAY. No need at all previously.If you follow the directions and change the water every 2-3 days, in a normal temp fridge, I can totally see it lasting 3 weeks or more.I'll be buying more to store other leafy fresh herbs.

I bought this item to keep my scallions/green onions fresh and to last longer. It works better than I ever thought. It is worth every penny.

We use this for our cilantro. It does seem to keep the cilantro fresh longer. It’s easy to use and is made with durable material.

This product is a savior for cilantro lovers like me. Keeps my cilantro fresh for more than 2 weeks, hence saving money.Cons : 1. It might not fit well in some refrigerators or refrigerator's door due to its height .2. It can only store upto 1 big bunch or two small bunches.Overall , I am totally loving this product .

The Prepara Herb Saver was not easy to use. It was difficult to open and close. For a store purchased bunch of herbs, it was too small. I returned it.Putting the herbs in a wide-mouth jar in water, covered with a plastic bag and refrigerated worked well. The herbs stayed fresh for 10 days.

I bought this herb saver with the hope of extending the life of my thyme, rosemary, and tarragon for a week or two. All three herbs are in just cut condition after three weeks stored in the door of my refrigerator. I have changed the water twice, total. This product is a WOW for me. Money well spent. Amazon’s return window is 30 days, so you can try this and see if you get good results and still return it within that 30 days if you are not satisfied. Get yours now and you’ll see how great it is!

My chives go through the holes in the bottom and into the water. Can’t be used for chives. They get soft and wet. Sorry I bought this.

This container doesn’t fit much for the cost. I could only fit a handful of fresh cilantro. My pictures were taken after it had been in the Prepara container for a few days. It’s not wilting yet or slimy. So far it seems to keep it fresh but I’ll see how it is in a week. I’m thinking about returning this just because it’s so narrow you can’t fit much in it. It does fit easily in the refrigerator door. It actually is a bit smaller than my door opening so it wobbles a little. There’s room for the container to be wider and still fit. It would fit more herbs in it if it was wider too. I’ve seen similar containers that are larger and less $. I do like the side spout feature in the bottom of this for adding water. My other herb container doesn’t have that so you have to lift out the whole thing and that can get messy. Overall, this does keep herbs fresh and fits nicely in the fridge and is easy to use. I would just like it if it was a bit wider.
