AdamsPlus Flea and Tick Spot On for Dogs, Small Dog Flea Treatment, 5-14 Pounds, 3 Month Supply

I bought this brand because I have three smaller dogs. All three were itching like they had fleas and although after bathing them I found maybe on flea I gave them this treatment. It did the trick and took care of the rest of the fleas but when I took them into the vet found out they had allergies. Vet said I was doing a great job at keeping them flea free! So when I am short on money and can't afford meds from the vet I will resort to using this brand. Only draw back is you have to place it on their backs and ( and then you have to make sure little kids don't touch them) the next day it is suggested you brush them through to help spread the med around the body to kill fleas.

I have used this product for over a year and my dog does not have heartworms because it keeps the mosquitoes away. Also repels ticks and fleas. Haven't had any and much safer than the very expensive heartworm pills. I like this better than the collar that I can accidentally touch because it dries quickly and then I don't have to worry about it after the day it's applied like a flea collar.

bought for my dogs. was on a tight budget and tried this. yeah, didn’t work well at all. I know summer time brings fleas but my poor dogs are getting beat upby fleas. had to order the more expensive good stuff. Also helps to do a flea control to your grass area and even indoor rugs.

My husband an I ordered the Adams Plus Flea & Tick Spot On for Dogs for our sweet girl Darwin who weighs in at 17.2 lbs. There has been a horrible case of fleas in our area this year and it does not help that we live in an apartment complex that does not mow regularly. Our poor girl was being eaten up by the nasty fleas and of course tracking them all over our apartment. We tried many other ways of treating it before deciding to go the chemical route. NOTE~Once we got the chemicals for her we also chose to bomb the apartment to rid them once an for all. We got the 3 applications with no applicator as we felt using gloves would work best after reading other reviews. We chose Adams because of what the product description reads. So I am going to go line by line and tell describe how its working/not working for Darwin. We followed all directions about not bathing, then brushing to distribute and these are the results.*Kills adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae~~~it did seem to kill the fleas that were on her but took almost 3 days to do it even after brushing her like the package said to do. I am not sure about eggs an larvae.*Kills adult ticks, tick nymphs, and tick larvae~~~she did not have ticks so this is not something I know if it works or not.*Works with the reusable Smart Shield(TM) Applicator, which parts the fur to get the drops onto your pet's skin and not on your hands.~~~we skipped the applicator so I am not sure if it works or not.*Kills and repels mosquitoes~~~I did notice the mosquitoes have not been bothering Miss Darwin when we walk her like they bother us so I would call that a success.*Provides 30 day protection from infestation~~~this is the big one aside from killing the stuff that is already there and this is where it is failing for us. It took almost 3 days to get rid of what was eating at her when it was applied and then after 11 days now we noticed that the fleas are back. We are not pleased at all since that is not even half of the time it says it will work.This of course means that we now have them in our home again an they are eating up our baby. We are disappointed that the treatment did not work for us as we hoped it would from reading the reviews.

The only thing I don't like about this product..........or others like it.............is the smell. That said, anything in the Adams line of flea and tick drops, spray, etc. does a fantastic job. I never have to worry about ticks or fleas or mosquitoes on my dogs at all.

I got this delivered on 1/19 and put it on my dogs and today 1/22 I am seeing live fleas walk on my dogs. I have always believed in Adams because the spray worked excellent! In fact I treat my house with it and we don’t have a problem inside my house. My dogs hate the spray so I decided to try the spot on, never again! Total waste of my money.

We have used this product for 5 years now and it has been great protection for our dog. Never any fleas, and even if a tick was found after a hike in the woods, it didn't get the chance to get attached.

This product works better for my dogs than the top of the line flea collars. It kills the fleas and keeps them away making my dogs happy and itch free.
