This is an excellent carrying case for Daniel Smith watercolor sticks. A friend and I went half on 10 sticks, cut them in half and now have all ten pieces in one carrying case.

I don't know how anyone could think this came with pastels, but it stores the Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors perfectly as well as other brands of watercolor sticks and pastels of all different types. A bit pricey though, so it should be only 4.5 stars when it was just over $6, but Hyatt is out to make a killing at $10+. Paying $2 per stick slot is outrageous and almost immoral.

I use it for watercolor sticks and a great way to protect them. I wish I had bought more and will. A bit more expensive here, but free shipping and it was a test for me.

I'd like it to hold more than 5 sticks, to be more like a small case without separate lids and hold 15 to 20 sticks. It would be easier to use this way.
