Cat and dog have abused this thing with hard play and it has not punctured or been cut. Its heavy duty.

I went through $1000's in beds for my 3 great danes over the last 3 years and they were being destroyed within weeks. I found K9 Ballistics about 18 months ago and they are the only ones still here. This one (pictured with one of my Danes) is the best yet. Don't be disappointed like I was when unpacking. The cushions look real flat... but within 4-5 hours they poof up thicker than my own bed mattress. The two upper cushions have their own zip in compartments, which are hard to even notice since it's all black in there. The upper cushions on 3 sides really make a more cozy area for them to snuggle into. The XXL is BIG! The picture is of my 150lb female. The waterproof and chew resistant cover is VERY high quality as are the internals. This would be really wonderful for a large dog and litter, although buying a 2nd cover might be a nice option for that scenario for frequent changing. I only wish I had not chosen blue. It's so big, be sure to choose a color that blends with your room. It's no cute little bed in the corner.

My dog loves it and scratches the heck out of it without doing any damage. When I consider all the beds she has torn up, it makes this a great value for the money. She is a pit bull mix. The bed is soft but the fabric is tough.

In less than 24 hours, she manages to scratch off/wear off a piece of the material. I was hoping this bed would be indestructible or at least last a long time.Will be returning. Not worth the price. 😔

My dogs were a little apprehensive about this at first and now love it.

Product arrived; the components are individually banded inside the box. Upon pulling them out it was clear that there was damage to the end of one component where the shrink wrap did not cover it. Nothing was labeled so we thought it was the outer cover that was damaged. Requested return. Was informed that I'd have to pay return freight (estimated $70). Not why we have Prime. Asked friend who is a seamstress for an opinion - she can fix it for $20. Okay, come on over. We finally unboxed and removed the shrink wrap from the components. Discovered that the zipper we thought damaged was operable with a little manipulation. The damage/tear is on the interior cover of the base mattress - not only not visible, but the stuffing is contained even if it does shift. Pleased to find the damage actually minimal, we assembled the bed and were very pleased to find it is the easiest assembly process for all of our big dog beds. Dogs are starting to use it. Takeaways: Dimensions are accurate, shipping was prompt, color works well in our house. No instructions, components not labeled. Not hard to figure out, but we have done a lot of beds. The stuffing is not fluffing up or expanding, still quite firm and the arthritic older dog isn't impressed. Good feature; if I decide the stuffing is not suitable, it's pretty well contained and will be easily replaced with a 3-4" thick slab of memory foam (expense!). There are a lot of good features here, it's less expensive than the Bean or Orvis beds, and so far it tough enough to resist the 11-month-old GSD/Pitty cross. I'm not going to return it, but I'm not sure I'll ever buy another.

This dog bed is fantastic. I can walk over the top of it and still not touch the ground. My dogs love it. My two large dogs are able to lay down in the XL together. I can tell my senior pitbull it.The material that the dogs lay on is very, very sturdy. My lab has a habit of pawing at things until she lays down. I won’t have to worry about her ruining this dog bed. It was a bit of a struggle trying to get the mattress and bolsters inside the covering, but once it was done, it made one heck of a soft comfy bed.
