I purchased these while looking for a good budget heavy bodies acrylic paint. Until finding these others were simply too expensive, i'm talking seven to a whopping twenty dollars for a 2oz bottle...and yes they can run that costly.I don't know about everyone currently reading this but times are hard and I can't exactly throw money around all willy nilly so I took a shot in the dark and decided to buy these. They're inexpensive, they looked a good product for what they cost and I was surprised because I feel they're even better than expected. I saw reviews stating they got different sized bottles or some saying they got duplicates and at first I was ready to agree until I took time to pay closer attention to the bottles. As pictured above there are two colors whcih look EXTREMELY similar to each other, more specificall the blues and I thought "well dang now i gotta buy a separate lighter blue' but then I saw a hue index number located in the back of each bottle and after reading the difference in numbers, I tried the paint out on regular paper, there is a difference however slight it may be, it is there. One must remember that Cyan is always a lighter tone of blue, as depicted in the picture of the index code 23-0250 VS the Pthalocaynine Blue which is 23-0255. It is in fact different. Next i'll get into texture and thickness. Does it compare to something like Liquitex Basics? Definitely not, liquitex is much much thicker but these are still very thick in comparison to most other acrylics, for example in most of my paintings I use apple barrel which is a amazing brand to use but sometimes it fell flat when trying to create texture or movement within the painting itself and these from Sargent Art are thicker and will allow for that movement, that texture to be made without the use of excessively adding paint on top of paint to create movement. UPDATE: after about three days of having these paints I finished my painting and as you can see it's thick and it holds shape and can create waves. Everything done here was done in one coat except the grass which has black and green coats for contrast of color.

My tubes came in all shapes the colors are repeating. it's still a decent buy. The colors are okay but thick low level pigment. Not easy to blend and paint.. Packing is low quality, not able to trust the product. But all the colors were seal broken except one.

the colors were not quite what i thought, but over all ok quality for money

I got these for using on cardboard and really like the paint. Good value!
