No issues with this product other than I need to buy 2 different cables and not just the one that I need so now I have a cable sitting around that I may never use. Still this let me convert the USB3 header on my ITX motherboard over to old USB2 for the older (but very small) Antec case that I had on hand which had all USB2 ports across the front. It solved my problem and helped me get my PC built.

I am using this product to connect a Sabrent SD card reader to an internal USB. You have to be careful when connecting, as the pins on the male plug are somewhat fragile. But once the connection is made this adapter permits legacy USB2 connections to operate from newer motherboards.

These have only 8 pins not 9pin as advertised violation. It would have gotten a better score if I got what I was paying for.

It arrived in a tiny ziploc bag along side another product I ordered. The 3.0 end of the cable was actually quite stiff and required light wiggling before it snapped into place with a small 'click', while the 2.0 male end arrived with the pins very slightly bent out of place, as they aren't cased in anything inside the plastic bag. Straightening the pins a little with my fingers was all it took, and the result is a pretty clean fit with my other components.If you coincidentally need exactly two of these like me, it's not a pretty good deal.
