Bambino Mio, Potty Training Pants, moo Meadow, 18-24 Months

The idea of these is good, but they don't work.Feel too nappy like so daughter forgets she doesn't have a nappy on therefore doesn't go to the potty. I these just confuse the kids.They barely hold anything, prehaps a dribble. They are small made so the biggest size only just fitted on my 2 year old and left marks on her legs.Spent a fortune buying a supply of these and I'm very disappointed.

Bought a set sized 18-24 months last year and was very happy, so decided to get the following size for 2-3 year old. Ordered 2 pants in different patterns and the size difference between them is just shocking! I have attached a picture where both new pants (2-3 y) are on top of each other. Space pattern looks huge! On top of that, Idecided to compare these new pants with the old ones I have for size 18-24moths (light blue in the second picture) and turquoise pants (2-3y) turned out to be the same size if not even smaller. So as much as I have liked the first set that i got a year ago, I will not buy a bigger size as I have no idea what will arrive.

Randomly saw these in Sainsburys but they didn’t have the age 3 and the age 2 stated under 15kg and my 2 1/2 year old is around 16kg. Hence why I ordered the age 3 through Amazon.Never knew they existed but they are actually just what we needed for our potty training as my son was refusing to tell me when he needed a wee in pull ups but always told me in pants when at home but not always when we were out. So needed something that was slightly more absorbent than pants but wasn’t a nappy!We have been using them since Christmas Day (I know random day to start potty training)And so far so good.... thick and absorbent enough to catch a small wee, but not thick enough and feel like pants that my little one knows it’s not a nappy or a pull up and can’t just have a wee in them.They run really small as I mentioned my son is about 16kg and the age 3 are a snug fit but hoping to not have to use them in a few more weeks!

My 2yr old seems to have developed some kind of fear to doing a number 2 in the potty whilst potty training. I was using pull-ups because of this but found they look so lumpy and bulky under her clothes, and environmentally I hate throwing them in the bin each day. I have used the swim nappy version of these which I wasn’t overly impressed with but thought I’d give these a go whilst on offer ( not sure I’d pay full price).I had high hopes but ended in disappointment. At first they seemed great, didn’t look bulky under leggings, she liked them. However she soon started thinking she can wee in them and it sent my potty training wayyy back! Plus they hold the wee ok when their on, but when you take them off it just pours everywhere and you end up getting their clothes and everything just as wet as you would do if they just wore nappies or pants.They’ve now ended up in the back of the draw and we’re in normal knickers again.Looks like the old fashioned way is the best way and this has been money wasted. Just glad I didn’t buy them full price.

Love these. I bought them after getting some from shops. These were perfectly sized. However the other pattern I got in the same size are huge and I had to get a replacement.

I ordered a size 2-3 for my fairly slim 2.5 year old, but they were far too small for him. The packaging says it's suitable for 13-15kgs, he is about 15.5kgs so I can understand why they don't fit but this information wasn't on the listing. If you look on the Bambino Mio website they have a size chart. To be honest I'm not convinced they would have fitted him even when he was under 15kgs though.The design is nice and they looked like they would absorb a bit of liquid, but as I couldn't put them on him it's hard to say. I'm glad I only ordered 1 pair to test out the fit and quality, as originally I had planned to buy 8-10 pairs for him. In the end we just bought 15 pairs of cheap supermarket pants and had a bucket to chuck wet stuff in before washing!

Nice design and material. They fit quite small, my son who is 2 and a half and 13kg couldn’t even get into the 2-3 size, he just about fits in the 3+.They are nice and comfortable and made of some sort of towelling material but they don’t absorb a whole pee, just a little bit more than plain underwear, the pee will still soak through trousers. I thought the whole point was to feel wet to the child but be of some help to the parents not to soak through clothes. So a bit pointless in that sense...I Like the material and designs though!

This product was lovely. Just what I wanted. Great quality, cute fabric, quick delivery. Slightly pricey when you have to buy multiples of the same product, but I was willing to pay for a decent product. Only downside was the sizing. I ordered one size up thinking if they were too big my son could grow into them. Well, they are so so small! He isn't a big baby, he's still wearing 12 months clothing, but these 18 months pants don't fit. They are so tight, the leg holes cut into his skin and the waist is so low it does even cover the top of his bum. They are unusable. Very disappointing as I bought three pairs to start with. Thought being a good brand they would be ok, thought at least they'd fit. I've now got to find an alternative product. It's a shame as they are great quality and a lovely cute print. Was looking forward to buying the rest of the range.
