Great Enclosure
First about speed. This is USB 3.0. USB 3.0 is not the fastest USB standard, but it is 5gbps (640MBps) and still faster than, for example, a Samsung EVO 860 SSD's read/write speed at about 550 MB/s. So its fast. It's well made. There are no internal shock mitigation, but it should keep the drive from physical damage through a lot of abuse and a SSD should be inherently shock resistant. The write protect feature is neat, though I haven't used it. Its at the top of the price range for other offerings in its class, but I think worth it.

Great product!
Came just as described. This case is one tough s.o.b. The case and SSD come separate so you have to install it, but it was super simple. Came with a small screwdriver to help in the process. Cable is short (like 12”) so depending on your setup you may/may not need a longer one.

Excellent enclosure for an SSD. Installation of an SSD drive is very simply and straightforward. The manufacturer provided a visual guide to assist, but it's so obvious, the guide is somewhat superfluous.
