We had the christmas trees set up on these and they work like a charm. Ease to set up with the app. No issues with connectivity.

I have been using these for a little over 7 months now and they work well. Setting them up is not terribly difficult (once you setup the 1st one the rest are easy to setup). App works well and has great functionality (you can set schedule, turn on/off manually, set a timer, etc). If I ever need to buy more, I will definitely purchase Govee smart plugs. I have these at my vacation home and use them to turn on/off fans to keep air circulating while I am gone for long stretches. So far they work great and I can manage all of the fans through the app.

With nearly all lighting and vacuuming at The 608 automated this Christmas we found ourselves with several devices that were not smart and required one to flip a switch, tap a button or plug in to turn on. I mean come on this isn’t the late 1900’s anymore. Thankfully @GOVEE had a solution. This is the H5083 Smart Plug. Govee has several options for smart plugs but these are fairly small. Generally you can still use the other plug on your outlet with one of these installed. As you can see they’re fairly simple looking. The app is pretty minimal has a few timers. These work via WiFi and Bluetooth. Can be controlled via voice from Google and Alexa and has a manual button. Alexa works pretty well. Little slow to turn on but I think that’s our lights and not the plug. And the button works great. Overall a useful little product for the non-smart electronics in your home. With a price around $7.50 a piece on a 4 pack they’re relatively affordable.

Features & Performance The timer and scheduling features are particularly useful. I’ve set routines for my lamp and fan — lights turn on in the evening and the fan turns off automatically at night. The “group” feature allows multiple plugs to act together, which is handy if you want several devices to switch on/off simultaneously. The plug itself feels solid and doesn’t block the second outlet on my power strip, which is always appreciated. In daily use, the responsiveness is fast — commands from the app or voice assistant are executed almost instantly. I already have a bunch of Govee stuff, so this was easy to add into the setup. The app works well and it connected pretty quickly without any issues. Being able to control it with Alexa is nice too, and the timer/scheduling features are super useful for things like lamps or chargers. It does exactly what you’d expect a smart plug to do — no complaints on performance. Everything has been reliable so far and I haven’t had any disconnects. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. It’s solid, but for what it is, I feel like it should be a little cheaper. However if youre using the govee ecosystem its great for the convenience.

This Govee smart plug works beautifully with Alexa over Wi-Fi. Setup was quick, and voice commands respond instantly with no disconnect issues. I also use the scheduling feature to automatically turn devices on and off at certain times, which has been super convenient. I even use one for my Christmas tree. The plug is compact, well made, and gives peace of mind with its safety certification. Simple, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommend.

These plugs are perfect! Much better than a previous brand we had tried. We now run Govee plugs and lights both at work and home. Very easy to setup, Alexa integration was quick and simple, and they work every time we need them. We bought 2 or 3 4-packs of these plugs after our initial purchase.

Just set these up today and they connected to my WiFi and Alexa in under five minutes each. I'm using one for a lamp in my living room and the other for a fan — being able to control them by voice or from my phone when I'm in bed is already a game changer. The group control feature is nice too since I can turn everything off at once when I head out for the day. Compact design doesn't block the second outlet which was a big concern of mine. Only thing to note is they only work on 2.4G WiFi, not 5G, but that wasn't an issue for me. Solid value for a two-pack at this price.
