Anker Powerline Micro USB (10ft) - Charging Cable, with Aramid Fiber and 5000+ Bend Lifespan for Samsung, Nexus, LG, Motorola, Android Smartphones and More (Black)

After many disappointments with other cables in different price ranges, I stick to Anker cables for my micro USB cable needs, now. I can count on them to make firm connections (they aren't loose like some others, to carry enough power to charge quickly (most other brands don't even tell you what gauge wire they use), and to hold up fairly well to the abuse I give my cables. I've experimented with other brands and ended up deciding that I'd rather go with a product I know will work well instead of dealing ing with the hassle of returns of inferior products that don't meet current fast charge standards, fall out of my devices, or fall apart after a few weeks.

So I bought this last October ('18) and I really wear cords out. I read on my phone A LOT, both for work and just on the kindle app, and my phone is old and has terrible battery life, and I have a habit of wearing cords down quickly. I'm actually relatively impressed at how well this held up. It still functions, but only if I turn my phone upside down so the cord is pressed towards the front and not the back, which is more than I can say for my last 10 cords. The cord itself is great and in great shape, it's simply the connector where the problem lies.I'm purchasing another one to replace this one. I think it was worth the cost. Cords of the same price from say, Target, only last me a month or so. Honestly, its price is wonderful, and I think, even if it had only lasted 3-4 months, I would have been very pleased.

I have continuously bought Anker products for quite some time. This Anker product is definitely on the low quality side. A common problem I have had with EVERY Anker cord of this type has either had problems at the end of the cord, or the micro USB connector bends out of place therefore making the product broken and unusable. I am disappointed with Anker overall as I feel they do not stand behind their product. Anker has a limit of 3 cables that are allowed to be returned in the warranty. 3 cords in only a few months is ridiculous. I would change brands but unfortunately there is a very limited selection of 10 foot cables.

When initially purchasing a product from Anker, the charging cord I bought wound up being flimsy and broke down within a week - or two - of having it. I left negative feedback, but then Anker contacted me and offered to replace the defective cord! NOW, I am very pleased to report that the charging cord they sent me is in perfect working order, which is what I've always come to expect from Anker products. I highly recommend them for both their quality products AND their customer follow-through when all is said and done. I want to sincerely thank them for taking the time to make things right and prove to me that they are a valuable resource to turn to for all kinds of electronic devices. :-)

This is my second one to purchase. The first one was plugged in to my phone when my phone was knocked off the coffee table and hit the floor. After that, it would no longer stay attached to any ohone for charging. I had it over a year and figured it had lived a full life, and In had been pleased with it so I ordered a second in October 2018. This was used only in my living room for my husband and I to charge our phones while watching tv, etc. It charged well, and stays attached to the phone tightly and we have not had any issues until this week. We noticed it was no longer charging. The wires are showing near the plug for the phone end, and look broken. I am disappointed because this was supposed to be a heavy duty cord. It is a decent value and the cord itself is heavy duty, but I wish there was some kind of reinforcing next to the plug.

I bought this with the anker 3.0 quick charger and have been using it for over two months now, nearly without incident to run continuous power to my Arlo Pro 2 camera. I gave four stars because the cable was working flawlessly for a month and then we left on a month long trip over seas and the cable stopped working. After getting home I found that the cable some how came loose and upon reseating it into the camera port it began charging again. Thankfully my battery held a charge and kept recording the entire time we were gone.My one complaint is that it doesn’t have a good secure locking connection into the Arlo Pro 2 port but it does work fast at rcharging the battery.

I'm a big Anker fan and the competitive pricing increases because the quality fits the bill normally but with these cables I've had to spell of the four cables I recently just purchased I can't believe how fast they actually went and died I don't understand they don't get any informational power through the cable to cable looks fine the connections and find it just stopped working it's really bizarrenow on the defense of anker I've yet to contact them and let them know I'm having issues which I will do next and update and revise this review as everything flows.Justin CramDyingJedi

I ordered a 5 pack "Volutz Micro USB Cables" on November 16, 2017. My 10 ft cable from them failed. To make this a short story, my 2 year warranty was NOT honored. I was told to go with Anker, as a friend of mine told me "They are a elite brand". So I did on on December 18, 2018. Not only does this cable stay in my phone, it is durable. I will wait and see how long this cable will last and see if i get my 18-month warranty, should the cable fail.

I have always been a big fan of Anker products. If I have to make choice between products I usually pick Anker even if it is the more expensive option because I used to trust the brand. In the last year however I hve had three Anker break on my within a couple of months since buying them. Started with a power bank then a usb-c adapter and now this cable. They all were great while they were working but that is of little comfort when they dont last. Either Anker is let its quality control slip or someone on Amazon is selling counterfeit products in Ankers name. About two days ago my micro-usb cable stopped working. Thats about 40 days since I got it. There was no reason for it to fail. It was not rough handled, the joints weren't bent nothing - been very well taken care of. I bought it because it was longer. My old shorter cable which I got with my phone is 3 years and it still works great, its just short. The listing says there is an 18 month warranty on the product but is not clear on how to avail of it. I will try it out and update of the company replaces the product.UPDATE:I contacted Anker and they said the 18 month warranty only applies if purchased from amazon.com and Anker direct seller. You do not get warranty if you buy from amazon.in or from other resellers. The part on the listing where it says this product has 18 month warranty is a lie.
