Bought to help diagnose a red engine fault light on a renault DCI engine. This is a plug and play device, connect to the ODB2 port and it reads the ECU error log.NOTE: This isn't vehicle specific so you often see manufacturers codes, search online to decode and see if it is something you can fix easily or not.Diagnosed my fault in minutes so saved me money straight away.Fixing the fault (new glow plugs) took all of 30 minutes and cost £30 in parts from Amazon, so saved me at least £200 in labour charges.

Love it, i kept getting engine not possible to start in 500 miles no need to call the recovery just plug this tool in and don't even have to press any button it just resets it to 0 it come back on if you don't fix the problem but at least I can carry on with my journey

Quick and simple to use, much better than the Bluetooth one I have but still cheap and cheerful. Works in both my cars so can't be happier

Connects to the car ok and gives limited feedback on error messages but, doesn't give detailed feedback and didn't clear the error messages when prompted. Can't grumble though considering the price.

Brilliant quality better than them stupid things you plug in, so easy to clear codes and scan.

Mercedes C Class Estate W204. Simple fault that I've lived with a while and bought this to try and pin it down and finally fix. Waste of time as didn't identify the fault even though evident on the dash and straight after use the car is now stuck in some form of "limp mode" so need to get a better diagnostic reader to fix the problems it seems to have caused.Definitely a case of buyer beware.

It does what it's supposed to do. Not sophisticated, it just shows the error code and allows you to remove it if it's not justified. It worked fine in my Nissan Note (petrol).
