Here's my review of the Rigoo dog heating pad:I have a Chihuahua mix that is about 14 pounds. She just loves to lay in the sun or anywhere there is heat. Her first heating pad was another brand and has held up, but I found it annoying that it would not turn off automatically. This heating pad not only lets you set the temperature, it also allows you to set the shut off time, up to six hours. And if you just turn it on, you know that it will turn itself off in six hours. But you can also set the time for much shorterFor my dog, that's perfect. I don't have to worry about it being left on and she primarily uses it in the morning and in the evening. It comes with two covers, I just use the thin blue one. Every once in a while, I just throw it in the wash.The main difference with these dog heating pads compared to a human heating pad Is in the cord. Both of mine have a really tough exterior wrapping around most of the cord in case your dog is a chewer. Fortunately, my pup is not a chewer. But I decided to see how tough these wrappings really are. I took a pair of channel locks and squeezed as hard as I could on the very end of the cord wrap. It did not break on either one of them nor did it crack👍In summary, I really like this heating pad. It comes in a couple different sizes I believe. If your dog is under 15 pounds, the small one will probably do the job. It may even fit a dog up to 20 pounds. When you turn it on, it sets itself to 130°, which is a little bit too warm for my pup. If you put the fleece cover on, it probably won't be that warm. I did check the temperature with one of those handheld temp "guns." It was fairly accurate, though the cover that you have on the pad reduces the heat quite a bit.For what it's worth, my dog seems to prefer around 110 to 115° on both of her pads. If you use one of those sticky pet hair rollers, that does a great job cleaning up dog hair. I do recommend you use something like that or a vacuum cleaner BEFORE Putting it in the washing machine, otherwise you may receive complaints about residual dog hair in the washing machine 😉If your dog really likes heat, or if your dog is older and needs the comfort of heat, I don't think you're going to go wrong with the Rigoo heating pads. They have a lot of positive reviews which seem to be legit. I'm impressed with the product Quality and, while her other heating pad works as well, I like the fact that the Rigoo gives you more control over the time that it is on.

The mat has endured my new puppy scratching phase... not thick but very warm when on, CORD HAS A PROTECTIVE TUBE!!!, so dont worry about the chewing of a power cord, still sprayed some chewing deterrent to prevent issuesNo noise, cover can be removed and washed very easily. I sometimes steal it from them to warm my feet.

I purchased this heating pad several years ago for our kitty and it has worked perfectly. It is easy to set time and temperature for up to twelve hours which has provided our girl with a warm sleeping space during Northern winters. In fact I liked it so much that I just bought another one for our lake place so kitty can stay toasty there on our weekend trips. I highly recommend this heating pad.

I bought this for my 12.5 year old dog with arthritis, who gets chilly on cooler days. She loves to lay on it. My only complaint is the temperature only goes as low as 80 degrees. I have found that, after an hour or so, she gets off of her bed where the blanket is, and moves to the floor. This may change when the temperatures become much colder. For now, to resolve this issue, I lower the time the blanket stays on so she stays comfortable in her orthopedic bed.This is a well made heating blanket. The cover is much softer than I expected, which is important.

Update, it's now Feb 2023, and I'm still using these for my babies in the winter. They have been a great addition to my pet winter supplies. It's been 4+ years and they still work perfect. I actually gave one to a friend. And I've loaned them out when my neighbors cat had kittens. GREAT PURCHASE!!I actually ordered 3 of these at the same time. I have severe allergies and don't have heat coming into my bedroom like the rest of the house. I use a space heater just in my room. I have 5 dogs, 4 small dogs and one large boxer/pit mix. Three off the small dogs won't sleep anywhere else except in bed with me. The other small dog goes back and forth between my bed and her bed on the floor. Then the boxer/pit will only sleep in her bed. Well over the winter time I noticed that the boxer/pit was getting cold so this was my solution to that problem for the 2 dogs on the floor. When I first plugged them in and used them they did admit an odd odor. So what I did to correct this issue was I took the washable covers off of all 3 of them and washed them. Then I took some lysol wipes and wiped down the plastic on the heating mat. Once they completely dried, both the mat and the washable cover, I then put the cover back on and plugged it in again. When I let it completely heat up this time, there was no smell whatsoever. I ended up giving one of the heating pads to my small dog, and I have a flat bed with a zip up cover on it. I used that one for my boxer/pit, and I put 2 of them side by side inside that and zipped it up. (If you have a large dog you will want to get 2 of them, because 1 will not be big enough.) My boxer/pit mix doesn't like anything on her bed at all, no blankets, no nothing, so I had to do it that way for her. She loves her warm bed now. She use to get up through the night and walk around my bedroom, but now she doesn't get up until I do in the morning. Also I love the fact that "I" can set the temperature on them. It lets me make sure that my babies are completely comfortable in their beds. Also I love, love, love the fact that they can be set to turn off after 12 hours. I have fibromyalgia as well as a connective tissue disorder, so in the mornings my body doesn't always want to work with me right. With the peace of mind that they shut off on their own gives me comfort. I waited a while after having them before I wrote my review because I wanted it to be as accurate as it could possibly be. I hope that this will help someone else who is looking into buying this product. I would have given this 5 stars if it wouldn't have been for the fact that "I" had to take care of the smell problem on my own when I first got them. The smell was very strong, however after washing it it was completely gone.

I purchased this for my litter coming of 6 Chihuahuas. From the moment they arrived it provided a comfortable temperature for the babies. All 6 survived and are thriving! I highly recommend this product for whelping! This is an awesome product with adjustable warmth. Shared with all my breeder friends!

Top heat is 130F so that's warm enough for my chuihuahuaHe likes to scratch a bed before sleeping so I will put a sweater over it . After a hour 130 is pretty warm under my dog so I put it down to the lowest setting 80

My cat loves loves this! The controls are all easy to use and it heats up fairly quickly but I’ve noticed it makes a weird high pitched squeak noise periodically which can be annoying at times but it doesn’t seem to bother my cat, not sure if this is a typical problem. It’s also the perfect size to fit inside a pillow case if you want to make it cozier!
