PackTowlOriginal Quick Dry and Super Absorbent Towel

This is the classic Packtowl, made with mostly natural viscose. I find it more absorbent, comfortable, and quick-drying than the 'improved' fabric of my REI packtowel. The newer fabric is less bulky and feels a little tougher, however. The viscose felt is bulky and does feel a little more delicate. That's fine with me, esp. since this one seems to dry really, really quickly.The Xlarge is big enough to wrap all the way around my waist. Still haven't decided whether to cut it in half to save space for backpacking, or just deal with the bulk in order to keep the benefit of being able to wear it after bathing. Either way, it is an excellent towel.

Smaller than expected, I know they give dimensions and I suggest you measure out that size. Given the high price, I expected them to preform better.

I have an older PackTowl that is made of a soft, woven microfiber material with a ridged texture and stitched binding around the edges. This new one appears to be made of pressed fibers. It's dense and stiff, and the edges are unfinished. It may be extremely absorbent, but the texture is so unpleasant, and so far from what I love in my older towel, that it's going back.

My snap completely doesn't work, which is a shame since I wanted to attach it to my bag. I washed it already so can't return. Disappointing for the price.

Classic pack towel fabric that I love, but I washed the medium after my first camping trip and it shrank about 3 inches on the length and 1 inch on the width and now feels too small. Instructions said it could be tumbled dry. :( Wish I had ordered a large.

I bought this for a backpacking trip to Peru, and I couldn't be happier. The original towel is not as soft as some of the newer micro-fiber towels, however where this towel shines is in it's ability to hold large amounts of water, as well as dry quickly after a sink wash. If you are looking for a travel/camping towel and don't need the towel to be very soft, then I would recommend this towel.

Good size for travel. Very absorbent, and wrings dry enough to continue using it. It feels like felt at first, as the material takes a few washes and wrings to "fluff up."The Large size is not big enough to wrap up in, but it is big enough to dry yourself off completely or to roll a wet shirt into after washing. The towel folds up small enough to disappear into your pack.

This towel was the perfect size for use during travel and simply got the job done!

My towel developed holes within 3 months of use. Now, 1-year later, my towel looks like a piece of Swiss cheese.This towel will not even stand up to domestic use, never mind a rugged outdoor lifestyle.The next light towel I buy will be from a competitor.

Not only was this an amazingly absorbant towel (which, as advertised, does get softer and more pleasant to use with use), but it functioned as a perfectly sized centre for bundle-packing (look it up), functioned as a way of getting most of the moisture out of hand-done laundry, and dried within a couple of hours, ready to repack. Exceeded my expectations.

Lässt sich wunderbar klein verstauen, trocknet schnell und man kann sich damit recht gut abtrocknen. Ist bereits mein drittes.

パックタオル（パーソナル）を長年利用していて重宝しているのでパックタオルならどれも同じかと思ったらまったく別物だった。（オリジナル→購入して5回程度、屋外で使用、パーソナル3年以上使用している）個人的に感じたのは、パーソナルに比べると耐久性が劣るのではないかな～と思わせる印象。乾いているときはとても軽い。濡れた状態だと重くなる。吸水性はよいが、速乾性がパーソナルに圧倒的に劣る。ビーチで使用した際、こまかな砂が払いきれない。

普通のタオルより吸水性がよく、絞るとすぐ乾くのでキャンプでテントの露を拭き上げるのに便利でした。肌触りは普通のタオルのほうが好みですが、コンパクトで軽量なので、普段もカバンに入れて携帯しています
