My dogs accidentally were locked in the house with doggy door closed, and well yea you can imagine what happened. I walked in after day 2 and the smell about knocked me over. I tried using vinegar in the carpet cleaner but the next day it was worse than ever. I looked this up on Amazon and it had good ratings so I ordered it and it arrived the next day. Since the odor was so bad and one dog is senior male I doubled the concentration and went over the carpeted area several times.I can honestly say the odor seems to be gone and the cleaner leaves a fresh lemony scent. It was kind of strong at first so I put a fan on the carpet hoping to dry is faster. It’s been a couple of weeks now and so far I don’t detect that nasty smell when I walk in the door so I think it did it’s job and I am super grateful.

I have two dogs that I thought were house trained. For some reason the older one started urinating in my living room carpet. This has been a fairly common occurrence. The carpet STINKS of strong acidic pee smell. I tried everything, from vinegar, baking soda, dish soap, windex, as well as almost all the over the counter cleaning products. I have a very good carpet shampooer/extractor that I put the products in. We were ready to rip up everything, and get new carpet and padding, as well as having the wood floor beneath sealed; a $6200 cost!!!!! As a last resort, I tried RESOLVE URINE DESTROYER, and PRESTO, IT ELIMINATED THE URINE SMEL!! Let me repeat that, IT ELIMINATED THE URINE SMELL! I knew this product was different, because as soon as I started shampooing the carpet, my daughter remarked, “ Dad, the room actually smells good, for a change. ”THIS STUFF WORKS!!! Don’t waste your time with anything else!!!! I highly recommend this product, it saved me thousands!!!

Our new puppy is working on house training, but is also a submissive pee'er. This means lots of piddle puddles. This product not only removes the stain, but the smell.

I don't really know how to write a review. We had someone else's dog at our house for two weeks and it used a throw rug for a toilet. I was afraid our two dogs might start peeing on the rug because of the odor. I used this on the entire rug both back and front. I guess it's removed the urine odor, but it has a different smell, which is fine, but my mind might be playing tricks on me and I keep thinking the odor is still there. Our dogs have not peed on the carpet though. So, I think it must be working.

Thos us a really good product. My rooms smell so fresh and seemed to loosen the dirt for good pickup.

I completely remodled my house when I bought it 4 years ago (including flooring). Now, my fur baby is a senior and has been having periodic accidents on the hard flooring and an area rug in the living room. Each time it happens, I become quite upset! But! I have also have had my fur child for 18 years and he's like my second child, so putting him to sleep for these every now and again inconveniences is not an option. I have a Hoover carpet cleaner and had been using the Hoover pet liquid in it, which is great too, but I wanted something targeted specifically for cleaning pet urine smells. I ordered this last night, and got home from work at 5:30. And let me tell ya, I walked in and almost started to cry because fur child had an accident that and my house smelled horrible! But fear not! Amazon was only 10 stops away. Within about 30 minutes, my package with this and the Resolve Urine Destroyer spray was delivered. I immediatly got to cleaning the floors (sprayed the carpet with the urine destroyer and let it sit while I filled up the jug for the carpet cleaner with this and some HOT water... And let me tell ya! I smell NOTHING but a slight hint of citrus now and I only went over it once (while I was vacuuming it did smell somewhat citrusy, but that toned down quick as it dries). I'm so happy and thankful! This was definitely worth every penny!

Buying this product in a large quantity allows me not only to save money but also to recycle my smaller containers.
