I purchased my IQ via amazon.co.jp at the final clearance price.If you are looking at the spec: 1 Dynamic Driver + 1 BA = no good, then you are not really understand the Hifi industry.1) Brand = sound signature & sound tuning2) Launch Price = product positioning and the hardware cost (e.g. Knowles BAs, made in US sound much better and cleaner than those made in China)Frankly, the sound tuning of IQ is up to a mid-fi (US$ 700+), wide soundstage, lot of micro details ( the details level just naturally more than all IEMs costs from US$100-399, e.g. IE 80 / FXA 7 / AF1120....), sound is dynamic and fun.However, please take caution of the mmcx terminal. IQ mmcx cannot fit ordinary mmcx replacement cable.I need to tailor-made by a professional DIY cable maker in Hong Kong. (you need a specific mmcx connector, which is not available for many DIY shops or big brands, e.g. Effect audio also won't fit.)The stock cable cannot release the potentials of IQ, if you cannot make any upgrade cable, don't buy the IQ.

Coming from in-ear monitors such as the W4 and SM3, let me sum up my impressions by saying: this is probably as good as it gets and I couldn't be more content. The IQ iems are highly analytical and sheer fun at the same time, yet unforgiving in terms of demasking weak source material (one gets to locate details previously presumed non-existent, whereas poor quality recordings/transfers are being revealed mercilessly). The impressive soundstage they create opens up even farther with an adequate external amp (being kind of an ''audiophile bass head'' I'm presently using the ''Duo'' amp, back to back with my AK120). Of course, a perfect seal is indispensable (wax-guard foam tips work best for me). By the way, after years of carefree shopping, occasionally influenced by other customer's ratings, it took an acoustic revelation like this to make me leave my very first feedback on amazon.

NW-A866→Dookオーグpt各３本→PHA-1→Ultrasone IQの構成で聴いてますドンシャリ系として非常に優れた音を出しますね、SE535ltdと比べて、中音を増やして低音を豊かにした印象SONYの付属イヤホンは基本ドンシャリですが、吐き気がする程質の悪いドンシャリで高中低がそれぞれ主張が邪魔して潰しあってるんですよねこのイヤホンは潰れませんし定位が安定してるので、非常に優れて洗練されたドンシャリを聴かせてくれますね。MMCXコネクタなのでリケーブルはシュアーと互換性がありますが、付属ケーブルが無酸素銅の良いケーブルなんで素の状態でも十分な音が出せます。何Ｎの無酸素銅かは記載が無いので不明ですが(^_^;)ケーブルはｕ型なのでこの辺りの好みは別れるかと後、初めてエージング効果を実感したイヤホンです、主観ですが(^_^;)段々と刺さりも消えてくる使用感は驚きましたこのイヤホン最大の難点は値段ですよねハイブリッド型といえどBA1+D1ですので不得意なジャンルはありますし、その辺りはSONYのXBA-H3に劣りますが極低音とかを求めない限りはSE535と比べて窮屈な音場ではないので自分は全曲問題無く聴けてますコスパは高級イヤホンに求める事ではないのでSE535の音が苦手あるいは詰まらない方はオススメしたい音ですね

Ich bin völlig verwirrt wegen der positiven Bewertungen.Ich wollte etwas noch besseres als meinen Logitech UE 900 haben. Die haben nach einer Vielzahl immer teuerer InEar-Kopfhörer endlich mal Bass gespielt.Der fehlt bei dem IQ völlig. Die Höhen empfinde ich als überpräsent und anstrengend. Im direkten Vergleich mit verschiedensten Aufnahmen ist der UE 900 zwar weniger präzise aber deutlich ausgewogener. So ist der IQ für meine Musik, vorwiegend Rock und Pop, völlig ungeignet.Natürlich dürfte ich so eine Bewertung nicht abgeben wenn ich das Teil gebraucht weiterverkaufen wollte ... zu Glück hats ja nichts gekostet.

These headphones are extremely well built and come with the usual accessories including an extra heavy duty cable and a quality leather case. The headphones sound no different than a pair of 30 pound headphones you would get at any other store. The design is extremely unique and the headphones are extremely comfortable. I used a set of my own earbuds to try them out (just in case I wanted to return them) and because they do not sound like a 450 pound set of headphones I've made the decision to return them. I've emailed (three times) and called the seller with no response. If you purchase from this seller do it through Amazon so you have at least some customer support. I have no problem paying the 20% restocking fee because Ultrasone should be ashamed of this product, I'm ashamed I purchased it.
