Anatex Six-Sided Play Cube Activity Center

I really like this cube. Only my kids have played with it so far, but I love that both can play at the same time and use different age appropriate areas. I started with my 6m and 2 year old - now its 5 months later. They don't use it all the time, but they do use it. I also like how it doesn't ruin the look of the room its in. I'm a designer, so I'm very picky about that. Maybe it's because you see them all the time in doctors offices so it doesn't seem out of place. But, I think it's also because it's a nice, clean, wooden piece of "furniture" that is not messy. All the parts to it are contained so there's never any pieces all over the floor, mess to pick up, etc. That's nice. I just plop my 6m (10m) down in front of it and he plays. My 2.5 year old likes the top part to move all the beads to one side. A bit of a perfectionist? So, I have to mix it all up when she's not there so she has something to do next time.

We saw this at the doctor's office and had to get one for the kids. This has now been passed down through 4 children and still looks like new. My kids are never gently with toys and they don't have to be with this one. After the abuse of 4 little ones it still looks like new. Great sturdy construction with no dangerous small parts. Great for many quiet hours of playing!

I bought this for my daughter, soon to be 1-year old. Pros: - No assembly required. - Design. Simple but attractive to a baby. - Sturdy. My daughter can pull to stand up and lean on it without it sliding on our laminate wood floor. - Fun activities. She likes to spin all of the beads and gears. - Range of activities. This is definitely a toy she can grow into. Cons: - Packaging. Arrived upside down with no padding over the bead mazes. Luckily there was no damage, which I think is a testament to the product quality. - This is a personal quirk I guess, but I don't like that the word on the letter L is spelled "lollypop." I had to look it up after a few days of it annoying me and it is an acceptable variant of lollipop, but it just bothers me. All in all, the cons are very minor and my daughter and I are happy with this product.

I remember playing with these toys in my doctor’s office when I was young and saw how much my kids loved these toys in their doctor’s office too. Ordered this activity cube for my kids to have at home and they love it even more! Extremely impressed with the construction and how sturdy and well built this toy is. Educational, entertaining, and beautiful design!

I bought this so that our 3 year old and 7 month old would have something to play with together....and it worked! They both love the variety of activities. There were a few spots where some of the paint was a little sloppy and there was some flaking from the appliqués used on the alphabet pictures but those didn't affect the toy at all, and overall it is very sturdy! This toy keeps the two of them entertained for quite awhile and is exactly what I was hoping for!

I love everything about this activity cube. Although it did not come with the taller swingle bar with beads but per the description it says that it may look different which is just fine. Other than that my 10 month old daughter loves it and so do my other children ages 8, 10, 12 & 15 they all enjoy it in the sense of interacting with the baby. It’s also nice for my husband and I to play with her with it. She is able to pull herself up and walk around it without it tipping over. I researched a lot of others and this was my final choice and I couldn’t be happier. The price is a bit much but it’s worth it in the long run. I expect it could last a lifetime with the proper care. I wish I would have known of this when my oldest was an infant!

The product itself is great so I have it 5 stars. This item is NOT well protected during shipping. There is no rigid inner packaging that protects the wire maze on top and as a result they get crushed and warped during shipping. To make matters worse, the first shipment that I got, they places the UPS label on the BOTTOM of the package so they had the entire thing sitting on the wires which is why when I got the product the first time, the wire maze was broken. The second package was at least labeled on top but the wires were still pressed together during shipping and had to be bent back somewhat to get it working though it's still not 100%.

I normally don't leave product reviews but was compelled to do so for this play cube. I ordered this for my 9 month old son. I had really high hopes for this cube and read all the rave reviews about it. The product arrived quickly and was assembled and ready to go. He played with it lightly for two whole days and unbeknownst to me or his dad, a screw cover came loose while he was playing with it! (See uploaded pic.) The screw cover is black and about a centimeter in diameter and like all children his age, it ended up in his mouth. He nearly choked on the darn thing! There should be a recall on this product. The screw cover should at least be glued on so things like this don't happen but that doesn't seem to be the case here. If my 9 month old managed to somehow take off the screw cover, I highly question the craftsmanship on this supposed quality toy. Buyer beware. This experience has terrified me. Hopefully this review will prevent it from happening to other well meaning parents shopping for their little ones.
