My husband has used Otterbox cases (with the clip-on holster) for many years and I bought one for him right after we got the new phones. Well, it didn't hold the phone well at all. Figured it was defective, so we went back to AT&T and got another one only to realize it was a design flaw. A pity, because the Otterbox served well for a longtime.So I found this case,and he likes it a lot.Pros -SECURE hold, belt loop option is the best (See the cons...)Magnetic closure is easy and quiet (no ripping-Velcro sound.)Comfortable, compared to all-plastic cases.Reasonable price.Cons -As others have noted, the end of the clip is sharp. I put a bit of gaffer tape on it.Clip doesn't hold very well, he's knocked it off while tying his shoes. Use the loops!Minor fraying around the bottom opening. I plan on running a bead of black E6000 glue around it.I also bought Humixx cases for basic protection. They fit well inside the Stronden holster.

When I got my first iPhone about 6 months ago, I really doubted that I would be able to use a belt clip since the 14 ProMax is so large. The solution: a horizontal phone case! For the most part, I love this case. The phone is so easy to remove yet if fits snugly and is well protected. But after only a few months, one of the two outer loops (that prevent the case from unclipping off your belt inadvertently) has fallen apart; it's only a matter of time before the other one does as well. These loops should have been made of tough leather, not the flimsy vinyl material. I hope the phone stays in place with only the ridgid steel clip since that's all that's left.
