Brake levers are metal so may get damaged. Otherwise very happy with quality.

I revived a bike and saved myself a much bigger spend. Super happy. Quality was better than parts I replaced.

All compartments were bagged together. If you know what you’re doing when it comes to changing breaks then you will have no problems with these. I however do not and the lack of any instructions whatsoever was slightly annoying. Also the actual break leaver for the handle bars can only be slid onto the handle bars not hooked over due the the material they are made so were no good for me as I’d have had to remove all the gear mechanisms from the handle bar. Luckily the levers I had were still good. The outer cover for the cable I’ve found to be too long but this obviously can be easily rectified by trimming with wire snips. Overall thing good value for money though

I got X2 sets of these..my husband and I needed new brakes on our bikes. Firstly he has a mountain bike and I have a hybrid and these calipers fit both bikes with ease. Luckily we know what we're doing so it was easy enough to fit. The issue is that the rear brake cable is nowhere near the 2m claimed. It fit my husband's bike with ease as his is smaller than mine. My bike is massive, and there is no way in hell that the rear brake cable would fit at all as it is definitely not 2m long!!! I managed to jam it on and realised I had steering which was permanently set to the right because of the cable. One visit to Halfords later and all was sorted when I bought an actual 2m cable and fitted. I mean, you get what you pay for. Cheap, cheerful, surprisingly good but lied about cable length. Possibly would be just under 2m cable if you measured both the front and rear cables together. Ultimately this listing could use a clearer description. To finish up, I would buy it again as the price is so good but will expect the cables to be disappointingly short!!
