The best handy pack of sustainment
I take chances with not opening the box after several months of receiving it, I mostly keep these as a backup in case there's a food shortage, or when traveling/camping etc. As long as the straps are intact, there's no revealing damage (punctures, slashes, dropped from a 2 story building) and the TTI sticker doesn't reveal exposure to long term heat 80+, we're good.I wasn't happy (they = who ever shipped it) put the document bag right over the TTI sticker, almost like they were ashamed something might be revealed. But, they lucked out and it was still in good condition when I removed the white portion. I really wish (they = the shipper) would overwrap the box with a thick paper at least to hide what's inside, these are not cheap replacements due to porch pirates. It doesn't need to be over boxed as it's already well protected, and the mailman doesn't need to know ALL of your order habits. :)Anyways, since the TTI is good and the box isn't mangled. It's a good bet the food is intact. Always keep these in a70 degree and below environment away from the sun light. You get a lot of nutrients in these meals, with tons of variety and tasty portions. I wouldn't live on these, but they are good for emergencies. The mains are filling, most of the time you should heat them for maximum taste value. Although, you can eat all of these cold. The snacks and sides are fairly well assorted, you won't get bored of them unless you eat a box every month. The heaters are hit & miss, from experience you can take the salt packet that's inside the condiment pack and add a dash to the heater and it gives it a kick to the reaction of the water/chemical mix.Keep one in your car during winter when you travel, one in your backpack for hiking. You don't need a knife or scissors to open them as they pull apart on the top of each MRE, and they all come with a long sturdy spoon. Everything should be easily eaten without need of a knife, you can even eat all of it directly from the mylar packets they are packed in.They are based on calorie needs of the soldiers, and you know they need tons in the field. You can typically spread each MRE out in 2 portions if you aren't going to push yourself burning 1500+ calories within 2 hours. Eat the main and have the drink powder, and 30 mins later eat the snack/side.I've had these in the past, and still use them now for civilian life as it's just convenient for car trips, and adventures. Ozark has been my go-to for the supply of these for several years, they have not failed me.

Reasonably Priced MREs
I ordered one to try them out since MREs have their use cases - and I wanted to verify this seller. I got what I ordered delivered in a timely manner. The case was manufactured back in 2022 and was still good in terms of freshness. I am still going through the MREs now but so far they taste fine - haven't gotten a single spoiled one yet.Issues I found where that I got two menu 19s - didn't go through the hassle of figuring out which menu I didn't get, and one mre - menu 22 - was opened in both layers of packaging which I ended up throwing away. Both of these issues I believe are manufacturer issues since the case was completely sealed when it arrived with no signs of tampering. I look to buying from this seller again in the future.

Good deal on MRE's
While I haven't consumed the MRE's in here, they came "sealed in the box" and the date codes on the bags check out with the listing. They do come as a "random assortment" so some may be more desirable than others, but even if you don't like the mains, the sides are still valuable too! I keep mine around in case of a natural disaster, and for long hikes when camping. Overall, it's a way better deal to grab them by the case if you want to keep a few on hand, versus taking your chances on buying them individually.

I love these things
These things rock for work lunches and hiking food, they come still fresh and all the meals are great idk what some of these people are mad about. My only complaint is Iv only gotten b cases, while I love the meals I've been dying to try the some of the meals In that case. Order while they have these I know Im stocking up

Mmmm, baby, that's a lotta munchies... a bit very salty.
MRE... sure different than the C-rat I grew up with.I usually get Camp-More or Mtn House dehydrated foods for camping trips, but this year saw a special on MREs so I bought a couple cases to try. My verdict is still out on whether it was a wise decision or not. Nothing wrong with them, they're just 'different'. My hat goes off to those who can use them quickly, though it probably would be faster after a few uses. All in all, the order was filled quickly, arrived in a super-duty cardboard box. Taste was OK- not gourmet but then, doesn't claim to be. Nutritionally, they're right up with the old dehydrated meals, even a bit more product (working troopers get hungry, ya know). I'm not sure what I can say about how appetizing they look, though to a hungry person, even a paper bowl is welcome. My only question about them is what to do with all the wrappings. Going to be a headache packing them out of the woods, compared to just burning the paper bags. A lot of aluminized wrappers can be bulky, as well. Which reminds me: a dozen of these is going to weigh much more than a dozen Mtn House meals and take up more space, more weight on portages. So, still out on the question of the wisdom of getting them. Now that I've eaten one, let me add this: they are very salty. I'm on a restricted salt diet, and doubt I'll be ordering these again. The chicken tortilla I had was tasteless, seemed to be pure salt for spices. And to add the Tobasco would have made it even more salty. In short, beware of your nutritional needs.

Exactly as mentioned
Idk what these other humans are blabbing about but they came in perfect. I've ordered 4 boxes and both came sealed with both A and B bundled up in each set. Now since some people order individual boxes instead of the set, you might get 2 of the same case if you order a set of 2. I would say its rare but it does happen. These are military rations so dont expect the flavor to be michelin star quality lol. They taste exactly how I remember them when I was serving with the boys. The only difference is there is no candy or mini Tabasco bottle. And for those who dont know, dont worry about the inspection date or none of that nonsense. You'll be fine. Just stuff your face and carry on. I'm not busting these all open but I wonder if they still have the strike bars. Others hated them, I loved them (kinda).
