Great multipurpose flour.
I use this flour for multiple purposes as it is called. I use it to flour a board when rolling out gluten free pie crust dough or cutting biscuits or making sugar cookies. I use this flour to thicken gravies and sauces. It also comes in handy when I need just a little flour for certain recipes. King Arthur brand gluten free all-purpose flour is the most user-friendly and best tasting gluten free flour on the market. King Arthur also makes a gluten free flour called "Measure for Measure", which I do not recommend as an all-purpose gluten free flour. The Measure for Measure is difficult to use and requires additional ingredients to get your recipes to turn out correctly and consistently. My "go-to" flour is only the King Arthur All-Purpose Gluten Free Flour.

Perfect angel food cake
I bought this to make a Gluten free angel food cake, using the recipe on the King Arthur site. First time making an angel food cake from scratch, turned out great. Group members loved it. Definitely worth getting this flour, which was needed specifically for the recipe.

The taste is the best glutton free taste our family has found.
I really like the fact that I can use the exactamount of rice flour as I do wheat flour in recipes. I had to be a little creative with a pie crust because the directions on the box didn't work for me. No problem, though, I just rolled the crust out in the pie plate and finished the edges using my fingers. The taste was the best part. The finished crust taste didn't overpower the taste of the filling. My gluten free son said it was the best he'd ever eaten.

Sometimes, It's Okay being GF!
I've always had a soft spot for King Arthur flour, and this product didn't disappoint. First thing I wanted to make was banana bread and boy was my patience rewarded! It measured and performed just like wheat flour, no kidding. In fact, it was the best banana bread I ever made. I couldn't keep my wife's paws off of it (or mine). Haven't tried it for yeast bread, and I'm not really interested in that, since it wouldn't perform like a gluten flour, of course. Just very pleased with it. I did think the cost was a bit much for the ingredients, but now that I have the list, I'm going to try making my own by experimenting with the 4 flour/starch ratios. If this works, it will have been well worth the cost.

King Arthur's gluten free all purpose flour
This product was used to bake a gluten free angel food cake infused with strawberry cream. It was for a bridal shower. Guests gave it rave reviews. The texture was great, not grainy as some gluten free flours can be!. It was very hard to tell that it was gluten free . Thank you King Arthur!

the best all-purpose gluten-free flour
My fiancé is gluten intolerant, so I've been doing a lot of research and experimenting to try to produce something that resembles her favorite foods, from breads to cupcakes, pancakes, pizza, and cookies. Of all of the all-purpose gluten-free flours we've tried, this one is definitely the best. She literally referred to it as "magic". The key thing that makes this flour so much better than the bob's stuff is that they have a good balance of various types of flours and emulsifiers. Your average wheat flour contains flour from various types of wheat with different protein contents, but its all wheat, because wheat contains the key elements of sugar, starches and proteins necessary in making great breads/cakes/whatever.So, when you are trying to mimic the textures and tastes of the things you get when using regular wheat flour, you have to combine various other types of flours to get a result that tastes like the real thing (or better, if you really work at it!). This flour has a very nice balance of starches, sugars, and proteins (from the various different flours), that produces foods with good texture and body, without making things too dry or spongy.Buying this flour online is significantly cheaper than buying it at our local grocery store, and though its still expensive, I don't think any of the competitors have a product that produces foods that taste nearly as good, so I think its worth it.

Keep on hand!
This works brilliantly - no need to think it through - just buy this if you need to use gluten free flour that works like a charm in "normal" recipes. Not a huge box - so cost effectiveness is an issue. But if you are looking for a way to just do your ordinary baking - this is it. I'm not willing to mix my own just yet - mostly just avoid things where flour is going to be a major ingredient. However, sometimes you have to have it - and this works great.
