Worth every penny
I was a bit hesitant when i first received the kit because one side of the box tape on one side was torn. However after going through and confirming all runners are present, including decals I'm happy to say that I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. The box art alone is amazing, and the instructions are clear and detailed. I've built around 6 MG's and definitely still consider myself a beginner. But I can already tell without building that this kit is leaps and bounds above all the older MG kits. If you've only tried older MG kits, I highly suggest you try this kit out.It makes this RGM-79(G) GM Sniper kit (one of my fav gundams) i'm currently building feel like an antique. It has far more decals and stickers than I've ever seen on a MG kit, and It even has each finger as a separate part! It may not be the top of the line, rare and good looking MG kit, but if you want to dip your toes into the future of MG, without spending as much money or time as the other kits, give this a try.

Favorite Gundam kit so far
This was my fifth MG Gundam kit and so far it is my favorite. It was a joy to build and looks great finished, no painting necessary in my opinion. All the decals are stickers. No difficult to apply dry transfers. It also includes gold foil stickers for the joints which look great. The kit has very nice color separation with different shades of gray providing nice accents in the arms and legs and armor pieces. The hands are a big improvement too. They basically come pre-built with articulated joints on all fingers. You simply cut them from the sprue and twist and turn the fingers a few times and they are ready. The hands include special tabs to connect to the weapons which means they will not fall off. Over all I am very happy with this kit. Bandai has succeeded in producing a plastic kit of outstanding quality.

This is an awesome kit! For being the grand daddy of all gundams this kit doesn’t disappoint even with it’s simplistic design. There’s some nice color seperation, great articulation and a lot of good details and panel lining opportunities. It was definitely fun to build. The arms are a bit tricky at the joints. For some reason one of the joints in the right arm keep popping out, but thankfully you don’t really bend the arm all the way for most poses so it’s not so bad. Also the copper stickers are a pain and tend to fade or scratch off if you keep adjusting them. I’m gonna paint those areas eventually. But other than those minor issues i have no major complaints and the kit still deserves 5 stars from me. Oh, and of you watch the movie “Ready Player One” you’re in for a treat!

Core fighter!
The core fighter can go into the Gundam. I am easily impressed and I think that feature is so cool. I can not get the fingers to close all the way around the sword or shield without popping off but it is one of my favorite Gundams I have build so far.

Amazing gunpla model
I would recommend buying some metallic copper paint and brushes to paint the copper on instead. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ASCMXKA?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Most of the copper stickers they give you are perfectly fine but the thin ones for the inner elbows that are visible are horribly annoying to put on even with tweezers. Painting the elbow joints where the thin stickers go is far better option since that is an area that is quite visible and the paint will probably last longer than the stickers.Other than that this is one of the best MG gunpla models out there. It comes with a ton of stuff like 2 beam sabers, a rocket launcher, beam rifle, shield, and a core fighter that can go inside the gundam. My favorite thing about this is when you put the hands together because the articulation on it is absolutely insane. You will just sit there for a few minutes admiring the fact the hands are all casted together yet they have independently moving digits on each finger that you don't have to assemble.

Best RX-78 kit to date
This is the best version of the Original Gundam RX-78-2 out there currently. It's extremely pose-able, the detail is amazing, and there isn't any need for painting. You could also add an LED module to make the eyes light up. Veteran Gunpla builders will add panel lining to it, but it will look good right after building it. It IS a Master Grade though, so I would recommend for beginners to do RE-100 Type models first to get their feet wet.The only thing I didn't like about this kit was the copper-colored stickers. Those were meant to give the elbow and knee areas a metallic look. But they will come off as soon as you start posing it. Better to just use metallic paint for those area.

Amazing kit!
This was my first Master Grade gundam, and it was extremely fun! If you can follow picture instructions and have some patience, this is a very fun build. The elbows of the inner frame were more complex than they needed to be but really, it wasn't a big deal. It took me a total of about 6-8 hours, across 4 days to build. My only complaint is that the decals are kinda crappy, water slide decals definitely look a lot better. The kit was pretty easy to assemble, and what I really love is all the different colors and shades of the same color, it makes it so you really don't have to paint it(unless you want to of course) to have an awesome looking finished product. I highly recommend this kit!

Mastergrade 3.0 MEANS something.
Ok, hard choice for a first Mastergrade, so I reccomend picking something older first - this kit had some TINY pieces, so it's just good to have a flow in mind and snip with confidence. On the other hand, directions here are top notch, and this kit is CLEARLY a new gen of Mastergrade. There is nothing lacking here. The kit does NOT need paint. Multiple shades of plastic leave it looking really interesting once assembled.Panel line and the kit pops! But it doesn't NEED it either. Posing is 10/10, hands are amazing, weapons aren't dull.I'm really hoping we get more MGs like this. Some of the RG 1/144 are as good (looking at you Sazabi), but this is absolutely the best kit I've made.If you're going to do the quintessential RX-78, in 1/100 or 1/144, this is the kit.
