Schutt Throw Down Baseball Bases for Baseball and Softball, Great for Practice, Backyard Play and Kickball, Impact Bases (Set of 3)

I coach multiple select teams and need a good quality drop base for times we end up in a situation w/o anchors. These are really well made. High quality, good thickness and they hold in place without an anchor very well. Highly recommended!

I have had these bases for six months now and they really are good bases for the pick up games I often play and they are holding up well. However, be aware on the outer edges the bases are only one inch high, and sometimes when we play on fields with taller grass it makes it hard to see the bases and this affects the quality of game being played, as fielders and runners have trouble locating the bases. That being said if you have access to regularly mowed lawns or a dirt field and you are looking for bases that are easy to throw down and hold up well then these bases that can do the job.

I should have pulled the trigger on these bases along time ago. there perfect use for grass or dirt. they dont move around hardly at all when there on dirt. and i could tell because of the material of these bases, that there going to last for along time. for realistic bases without the pegs on the bottom, these would be the ones to get. I've checked dicks sporting goods, sports chalet, and sports authority, and the bases they had there looked really cheap compared to these throw down bases, and i almost bought the bases they had there. so happy i didnt waist money there first, and bought these bases. i promise whom ever purchases these bases, you will not return them.

Rugged bases that won't move around that much, you don't have to stake in the ground, and are not too heavy for 12-13 yr. old young ladies to handle taking on and off the practice field. Btw Mr. Schutt: Would have paid a little extra for a set of 4 with a home plate. But no big issue. We all know where home plate should be. :)

Awesome for any coach that puts the extra time in to train his kids. You don't need a ball field with these bases, just an open field. I bought these because our city has 12 teams with only 4 fields to spare during the spring season. So ball fields are very limited. In order to get some good practice in, these worked perfectly for me and the players. They do not slide or move around when rounding the bases. They are very heavy and made from a very good material. They feel like real bases. I highly recommend this product.

These bases are awesome. You can throw them down or add the post to have them set in the field. They hold up to steel cleats allowing four of our club teams the feel of real bases that do not move around or stick to their steel cleats. The thin throw bases just don't cut it once players start using steel. These are a must have for teams 13u and above (some states allow steel at younger ages such as 12u and above).

Used these bases to replace my Schutt foam bases. These work well. No more hammering to spike down the foam bases. They are not as tall as the bases at the ball fields, but in retrospect I think that is a good thing. These bases are heavy enough. I can throw these down and they don't move around. My 12U boys team have kids with metals and these bases hold up with no punctures. Now I need to find a better home plate that can do the same.

Very happy with this purchase. They are well made, heavy and do not move around much on the turf. No safety concerns at all.
