These work great for me and have a strong magnetic hold. I bought these to put up kids artwork on the fridge, Christmas cards and other items. Since they are so small it doesn't interfere with whatever you're posting. But because they're small be sure to keep them up high away from little ones.Been using for over 2 months and would definitely recommend. I did a lot of searching for "the right ones" before I purchased these.

Looks great, modern and minimalist. However so narrow that it requires careful placement and a somewhat delicate touch to get them to stand on their ends and to move them around.

needed 4 little magnets to fix the closure on a project that the screws had snapped in but couldn't be extracted. These seem plenty strong enough for my use. Will update if anything changes, but these should be great. Just need to figure out what to do with the other 26 of them! Thinking some of the negative reviewers had unrealistic expectations for these tiny magnets.

I took a chance and bought this to replace the missing magnetic contact under my window for the home security system. One of the original magnetic contacts for the first floor window fell off and was no where to be found. I searched everywhere looking for a replacement. Unfortunately the 'specialty' stores selling components for security systems don't usually sell magnets in this shape and size by itself.....or they want a lot of money for one. I received the package yesterday and immediately tried it out against the sensor contact on the window. Surprisingly it worked. Although these magnetic pins are not as long as the original one that was mounted on the window, all I needed was for the tip to touch the contact. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

It probably not what most are doing, but I used these magnets to find and mark the studs in drywall for the purpose of installing shelves. I had larger magnets, but they were too large to be precise markers. These magnets were very strong and very small, so they attached to the nails/screws in such a way that I had a very clear delineation of where the studs were. I'm sure they'd be great for maps, too. A note on the stud technique: I used a larger magnet hanging from thread to scan the wall. When that found a nail/stud, I then marked the spot with these smaller magnets.

These are really cute and very strong. I actually use them on the side of my fridge like little hooks to hang my cat food can lids on.

Dimensions not as advertised: diameter is advertised as 3mm, but is in fact over 4 mm. And, yes, I now see that the detailed description several pages down says 4mm diameter - but the title of the page says 3mm diameter, and that's how I made my purchase. For the application I had in mind that extra millimeter in diameter was utterly unacceptable.If you don't care about the falsely advertised diameter, probably OK. Magnet strength, while noticeably weaker than other similarly sized or smaller neodymium magnets, is entirely sufficient for the advertised purpose.
