Two years later
It's been nearly two years with this DVR so I can definitely give a very accurate assessment of this product.First of all.... I absolutely implore you to purchase this product because of the customer support. I am telling you with absolute certainty this is the best customer support experience you will ever have with any DVR company or even security camera company. I know this because I own multiple properties with various DVR systems and installation companies.One 1-31-2021 - Sunday morning. I called for support. A nice lady answered the phone who forwarded me to an equally as nice support rep named James. Grasp what I just wrote.... it was Sunday morning. They explicitly state their hours of operation and that does not include Sunday morning. They still answered. They still eagerely went to help. He had no idea if I purchased this product 10 years ago or yesterday. All James wanted to do was help me right away. And help me he did. The problem ended up being a harddrive that I had placed in there from another DVR. The DVR was perfect.This wasnt the first time I contacted them for support. Admittedly, I was confused when I first purchased the DVR system years ago. And whoever helped me then was equally as nice and helpful. I had called again a couple more times since. Once was because I lose my password. Their solution was to instantly help me.I know you probably want to hear about the DVR but the support has been more important than any other element or feature of this great device.If you are at all confused on what machine you should get. I am telling you... get something from this company. Doesnt have to be this specific DVR but just get it from this company and you can not go wrong. Trust me, take it to the bank, you can vet my other reviews; just do yourself a huge favor and buy from these guys.As for the DVR itself, it is feature rich and easy to use. I will come back to edit this portion (I just had to jump here for the support review first).

Excellent Clarty with a Good Price point.
HD quality for sure. Installed this system about 3-4 weeks ago and my shop was broken into last Friday. Well guess what, The Police were able to quickly pinpoint the persons description by excellent night vision and the robber was caught in 20 minutes. Also, nothing was stolen inside due to an excellent Police force in town.Please note that the dvr DID NOT come with a hard drive. You have to buy your own but who cares, now I can record up to three months of data, no problem.

I purchase this item on May 22, 2020 (Surveillance Digital Video Recorder 16 CH ,It’s not working . I called the seller he blame on power supply also seller statutes he don’t sell power supply . I did purchase three power supplies in different time from best buy still the Surveillance Digital Video Recorder it’s not working. I'm not recommending this product to any one DON”T WASTE YOUR MONEY

It's a great DVR and works well with all my cameras.
It was very easy to add my hard drive. I used tech support and they were very helpful and easy to work with.

Great Customer Service
Had a few questions and every time I called they took the time to listen and give me the answers, the phone is answered promptly by a real person and then turned over to the appropriate person to give the answer. Very satisfied and the unit works great. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 I find it a little cumberson to hunt for specific times

Don't bother with the countless budget brands, get this one!
Hands down, this is the one to buy. Software works, including remote view for both PC or mobile, auto detects camera's, and had all the features you would expect for a quality security DVR. I have used other brands, started with ZOSI, then Samsung units, this one is in a different league of quality. There are countless budget packages available, but all that I have tried had quirks and bugs, none except this brand has functional web viewing.Only ding in the software is in the scan setup of live view cameras, you can only select a camera once. For example, when using 4x4 view with scanning in sequential groups of 4, there are 32 configurable channels in 8 pages, but you can't have a camera on more than one page. I would like the option of viewing the same cameras in the top two positions in all 4x4 pages and then in the other 7 available pages select different views for the lower two.positions.

Works very well
I was replacing a very similar one that failed after several years and this one was just plug-and-play.it has a nice sharp picture better than the old one

The DVR works great.
Motion sensor is over sensitive, Way over! This is something most do not use. Other wise the DVR works great.
