Not individually wrapped
This encaustic wax set was cheap so I expected the blocks to be small what I didn’t expect was that they would not be individually wrapped. So all of the colors have flecks of the other colors embedded in them. This makes the lighter colors unusable as a pure color.

Smaller than picture but a great product and shipped fast.

Good but smaller than expected
I liked the range of colors and the quality of the encaustic paint. The size of each block was smaller than expected. I had trouble matching the color codes on the blocks to what is provided on the box. Overall, I was pleased with the product.

Obsessed
These are great wax crayons - and the whole encaustic starter set ..... obsessive. High quality products and SO fun to create wax paintings!!

Hard, scratchy, not at all creamy even with heat.
I don’t like this product at all. Not sure about the composition, if it has too much resin and not enough wax and oil but it is hard and scratchy, and even with the heat gun, I’m not able to get the colors blended well when I’m blending with an oil stick and even the same products in this box. The mark of a hard scratch remains present, there is no creaminess. I did like some of the colors and appreciated the two white sticks and the black but otherwise, it would be a one star review. I’m returning them.
