Two months with this pan, and I love it!
After discarding all our old cookware after buying an induction-top range, I wanted a nice, induction-friendly stainless frypan to compliment our T-Fal non-stick sauté pan. This pan was a nicely priced option with some great reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try.If you're asking yourself, "Why two pans?" I'll give you three reasons why. The first is non-stick pans wear out and wear out really quickly if you cook over high heat, like when you sear meat. This pan doesn't deteriorate when you heat it on high and will last a lifetime. Non-stick pans also don't work well for recipes where a sauté is deglazed into a sauce. Finally, as non-stick surfaces wear out, they deposit chemicals in the food you cook on them, and that bugs me.So I have this non-stick frypan, and I am very happy with it. It has a nice heft to it, heats evenly, does a great job of everything from searing to sautéing, and is genuinely easy to clean. We do a lot of home cooking here and, two months in, it still looks like new.I thought I'd show you how easily this pan cleans up. The first picture I took was after a dinner where I sautéd all the vegetables for a veggie-heavy, one-pan zucchini-tomato-chickpea curry, then scooped up the leftovers and used a spatula to get the last of the sauce into two leftover storage containers. If you take a look at the picture, the pan was pretty clean even before it hit the sink. The second picture was taken a couple of minutes later after a drip of Dawn dish soap, some water, and few really quick swishes with a scrub brush cleaned it out, and this is what it looked like. No elbow grease was required. It shines! Here's one more cool thing about this pan: The lid for our 10-inch T-Fal E93897 non-stick pan is a great fit for this one, too. Having a well-fitting led comes in really handy so, if you're looking for that perfect pair of 10-inch standard and non-stick pans, this and the T-Fal might just be your perfect set.Pros:* Induction friendly.* Cooks evenly at every temperature.* No problems with warping.* Really great pan for not a lot of money.* Has been super easy to keep clean.* Mates well with the lid for T-Fal's 10-inch non-stick sauté pan, E93897.Cons:* I couldn't think of any!

Great pans especially for the price point
Wanted to transition from non-stick pans. Bought this and have been super happy with it. I make sure to preheat the pan before using and do the water drop test (watched some youtube videos to learn this). Once the pan is properly heated, I'll cook with it. Sometimes I use oil, sometimes i don't (depends on what I am cooking). I haven't had any issues with sticking. Love these pans because of how well they work. A shame they don't come have lid options. They're not heavy at all, which is great for me since my wrists aren't very strong.Pans are easy to clean and I don't have an issue with staining that people mentioned, but I also use bar keeps friend every so often to keep it nice and shiny and they look amazing.

Highly recommended
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Best purchase. Finally non toxic pans without the non stick that is always somewhat toxic.I had to learn the way to make sure it’s not sticking without using a lot of oil or butter and after watching YouTube videos I tried few times and it works perfectly! The best pans you can cook for your family with and be confident that you don’t feed them toxic chemicals. So the way I make eggs with it is first I put it on medium- high heat and wait and do the water test (see the water looks like balls jumping around - then you know it ready) once ready I put it away from the heat and turn the heat low, when it’s on the side (the stainless steel keeps it hot) I put oil something like one tea spoon and make sure it goes all over, then add the eggs, only then I put it back on the low heat and give it some time to cook - it’s not going to stick this way and you’ll be able to move and flip it. Good luck !!

better than I expected
I have to say that Amazon basics stuff has actually been decent quality for the prices. That's why I tried this set. My old teflon coated was scratched up and besides, I wanted to shift away from toxic non-stick types. Even the stone coated could be toxic when the surface has any tiny break. So overall, it seems all answers kept pointing to Stainless vs iron with SS being all around balanced performer. Granted, I'm not looking to be a pro chef so not spending 200 bucks on a pan but still wanted something great for a decent price.pros:- very nice finish on first impression- clad bottom, works with induction- cooked over fire some burgers and it heat up well. Seems pretty even- cleans off nicely, will update when there's more wear and tear- handle is comfy enough, did not hurt my hand with 3 thick beef patties in the pan- handle feels solidly tacked on- decent gauge of materials (not too thin but not like a tank)cons:- as expected, being a non-non-stick coated pan...will have to go back to using some more oil or butter- none yet but will update if finish, handle or repellency doesn't hold upAs of now, I'm happy after a few uses between Salmon and burgers so far.

Do not buy !
Worst product ever I’ve purchased on Amazon. Everything sticks regardless of what methods I use and it also burns very quickly. Impossible to clean and get off the burnt spots. Do not buy. I would return these if I could but they’ll most likely end up in the trash
