Great Starter Mic
Clear, good quality audio, straightforward setup, great for gaming and streaming though I’d recommend it as a starter mic since it has no software to change your settings. I’d also recommend buying a mic stand with it since the one it comes with isn’t very good at all.

Great sound and good value
The HyperX SoloCast sounds great out of the box, is easy to set up, and has good quality, rich sound for the price. For under £50, it's well worth it.I like the size of the SoloCast, it's perfect for placing it on your desk for a video call, or any kind of recording - even without a boom arm (though I would recommend using one). It;s just over 7 inches tall with the removable stand, and the tilt and 90 degree rotation comes in handy. It's worth testing the audio quality out to see what suits your personal preferences, but the mic does a great job of capturing audio while at various angles and distances. The USB-C cable is what stood out to me, as it's a shame when microphones like the Blue Yeti are stuck with micro usb. The cable is a very decent length of about 2m, and you can always use another cable if you misplace it.The noise supression isn't amazing. As the stand isn't super sturdy, if you make any movements like typing on a keyboard or touching anything around the desk/boom arm/etc, this can be easily picked up by the mic. I find the tap to mute button especially useful here, as I can be typing away whilst on a call, and not have to worry about the sound interfering.I was torn between this or the Quadcast, which was significantly more expensive at the time I was shopping around - at least twice the price, if not more. If the price difference is only £20/30 then I would probably go for the Quadcast, as you get such features as the 4 polar patterns, shock mount, pop filter, gain control, headphone jack, etc. The SoloCast only records in cardioid, but this isn't a problem if you just need a fairly simple microphone.I haven't tested it out gaming yet, so can't speak to that, but with video/audio calls over the computer, it does a brilliant job. I've been using it for a few months now, and haven't had any issues. It's improved my set-up, and works perfectly.

Essential WFH Office Kit
I got this after complaints that my audio on meetings was poor, & after I read a review that recommended it as a budget option. It's a sturdy solid feeling unit, small enough to sit discretely under my monitor & with an in-built mute button which is a bonus (though the red led is noticeable).I have been told that my audio on meetings is now loud & crystal clear when speaking normally with it about 18 inches away. It's great that I no longer need to keep putting earphones into my ears or remain tethered to my desk holding a mic close to my mouth & talking loudly: my comfort level is vastly improved.I'd recommend this as an essential bit of kit for a modern WFH office setup.

How is this not more renowned??
What an incredible bit of kit from HyperX. Very much under the radar and not very marketed here in the UK from what I can find.I was expecting sub par audio quality and something just to use on a wim but honestly I'm impressed. Crystal clear quality, much better than the Razer Seiren Mini which seems to be it's only competitor. Where in the Razer you get tinny, somewhat echoing sounds, you won't find those here.Since it's only use to me is right in front of where I sit, the single sensor is more than enough to capture what's required and still has somewhat directional capabilities, but if you need more than that you've got the likes of Blue or HyperX's quadcast etc.Absolute bargain, would recommend.

Crystal clear
Great price for this little mic. Good weight to it and it's crystal clear even from far away. I'm using it for video editing.

Crisp audio
Super easy to install, literally ready out of the box. The stand it comes with is fine if a bit fiddly. Sometimes I have problems with it picking up background noise even on noise suppression, but I think that's more of a Discord issue as testing the noise suppression for a few seconds usually fixes it.
