Bill & Ted Face The Music [DVD] [2020]

This is too woke and diverse. The female actresses are trying too hard to copy Bill and Ted, it’s just become terrible ham acting.The storyline is basically a rip off from Bill & Ted 1 &2, only with females taking the lead (in everything). If you’re into wokeness, this film ticks the woke and diversity checkboxes completely for you, by doing so though, it’s ruined the franchise. Wish I never bought the film won’t be watching it again. Poor show and a sad way to end Bill and Ted. .

I want my money back. I only watched about 17 minutes of this movie. Bill and Ted did not write the song that united the world apparently. They have become losers with only two fans. Little Bill and little Ted are girls. They are taken to the future by Rufus's daughter, to be admonished by an all-female panel about their failings.SPOILER ALERTThe panel tells them a song written by Preston and Logan played that evening is the song that unites the world. I don't need to watch the rest of the movie to know who that song will be written by.I rented the first two movies because I really loved them and thought I'd have a lockdown Bill and Ted binge. I hope I will be able to put this horrible disrespectful movie out of my mind so I can at some stage enjoy those two again at a later date.I hate modern Hollywood. Why did you have to do that? I now understand how Star Wars and Star Trek fans feel.

Loved the first 2 movies, so couldn’t wait to watch this one, however it was one of the worst movies ever. Complete waste of money and time. Not even our 13 year old girl liked it. Wasn’t funny, nothing new, and just a really bad movie.Love Keanu but don’t know how he could be part of something this bad....

This is everything I loved about the first movies, only without feeling sidelined because I wasn't a boy.It isn't white boys having a good time and saving the day, it's *everyone* coming together to save the day. It's beautiful.Bill and Ted were great, their daughters were great, Elizabeth and Joanna are great, Death is great, the Future people were great, the great people from the past were great. Women were celebrated as well as men, and a range of people of colour.This film is joyful and funny and expresses a great love of music and really embodies the spirit of being excellent to each other.

I really wish I read the reviews beforehand. This movie was not just heinous but non non heinous (bad Bill & Ted pun). I loved the first two, even now they are most excellent. Unfortunately this isn't and is so predicatble. The "plot twist" is pretty much in your face straight away. This is a movie that should just not have been made and left to us all wishing they did, but didn't!If you do want to watch it, just to say you have (and then regret watching it) wait untill it's in the bargain bin!

The entire film can be figured out in the first 10 minutes from a single line, the laws of time physics changed from the first two films, nothing is explained the way it is in the first films without brushing things off with pseudoscience buzz words, you can't take any of the actors seriously, there's absolutely no originality in the film, and the tone of humour in this film does not carry well for anyone that was around when the first films came out (it's cringe as hell).If anyone has seen this already, watch out for the robot, he's the least likable character and every other character hates him and wants him to shut the heck up, I thought it was a meta representation of how this film came across to it's original audience.I don't know what I fear the most, the fact that the writers pitched this, the fact that someone produced it or the fact that legendary actors didn't take one look at this script and just turn around and silently leave the room.Do not buy, rent or get forced to watch this film, it will make you wish you hadn't.(one star rating as not possible to leave negative stars - but this film is the reason amazon should redesign their rating system in order to allow it, now excuse me while i beg for a refund)

dreadful movie

I love the first two Bill and Ted films, and was cautiously hopeful that this new film would do them justice - I was worried when I saw so many negative reviews, and after so long could this film live up to the legacy set by Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey?In short, yes. Ignore all the people moaning about this being 'woke' - they clearly have nothing better to do. This film possibly isn't entirely as funny as the first two, but it's close enough and entirely enjoyable. It took me a little while to click with it - for the first ten minutes I had my doubts, but once it found its feet the charm of the first two movies came flooding back and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Definitely a feel good fun movie that recaptures most of the charm and essence of the past two movies, and is a worthy addition to the series. Party on dudes.
