8 Days to Super Soft Heels - Quite the Process but Satisfying Results in the End!
Here is exactly what happened to my heels in 8 days! Day 1: On the first day of this 8 day process I read the instructions on the package and collected everything I needed including my foot bath filled up with water, wash cloths, two pairs of disposable gloves and I also later got a zippered gallon plastic bag to put the used items in. You don't need all this per the instructions but I found it helped. The process is then to put on one pair of the gloves and open the package with the heel chemical peel booties in it. Once on you can put the protective fabric heel cover so the chemical peel pads stay put! It took me a minute or two to figure out how to peel off the cover on the sticky straps which are attached to the heel cover. It is logical because it peels off near the fabric end but a little arrow on the paper would be a great improvement. The peel pad and heel cover fit even my size 11 feet! I was also able to walk around without anything falling off although I mostly sat and waited for the timer to go off. You want to set a timer for the 60 minutes because that is the maximum time you can leave everything on and you don't want to exceed that time. I found it easy to sit in my recliner with my feet up on an ottoman. This didn't burn or sting and felt pretty neutral, not hot or cold for the first 34 minutes. Then I felt a little tingling near the 42 minute mark. I took everything off right before the timer went off. Then I washed off my feet in the foot bath. Then I also washed off my feet in the bathtub. That was it for day one except by 9 pm that night I put on some foot cream because my feet felt dry. Day 2: By looking at the photos on the package you would think the results would be instant, but actually the whole process to peel your heels can take like 8 days and on day two my heels felt really dry. Day 3: Nothing had started to peel yet so it was just a waiting game. Day 4: I tried using a file to sand off some dry skin but this was pointless. There was a lot of dead skin. Day 5: My heels felt very dry and a little itchy irritated but nothing major. I put on some foot cream. Day 6: I finally soaked my feet and some of the dead skin started peeling off the pad of my heel and higher up on both sides. I suggest you put a large napkin or paper towel down on the floor before attempting to pull off the dead flakes very gently. For me the flakes just came off easily. The instructions don't say to do this but I felt it was a better idea than leaving skin flakes all over the carpet! Day 7: On day seven a lot of peeling occurred after my shower. Tons of skin came off really easily. I used a napkin on the floor to catch the skin as it just fell off when I ran my fingernails over my heels. I then put on more cream. Day 8: I soaked my feet for 30 minutes in warm water and more skin peeled off. Now mostly smooth soft skin was showing. Nothing hurt because the dead skin just flaked off. I put more cream on my feet after I sanded them down a bit gently with a Diamancel foot file to even things out. It worked. The process of peeling seemed over and my heels looked great. The only cautions I would give is be careful when walking on wood floors or tile flooring during the process. The heel loses some of its traction due to smoothing out before the dead skin peels off making the heel feel like it is covered in dead skin and it can feel flat and slick. In retrospect I should have just worn slippers. I felt the process took some patience, but for the results it was worth it. Your feet should just look great by day 8! So would I do this again? Yes, definitely, because it works way better than just a foot file and removes tons of dry skin off the heels that you could never get removed any other way. I was tired of my heels looking bad and feeling so awful so finally I did something about it. I am not a foot doctor, nor is this review medical advice or instructions on how you should do the process. This is just my personal experience and it worked out well for me. ~The Rebecca Review

I’m amazed how well these work
**** anyone who gave this product a one star just hasn’t had peeling yet!!! It takes time. My sister didn’t peel till day 10!!! But soaking your feet accelerates it I never write reviews but I am so happy with the results I got from these. I put these on for an hour when I did my hair and makeup so I wasn’t walking around much. I think that would be hard to do at first too cuz your feet will be slippery in the masks. I didn’t think the quality was a big deal- they stay on and if you can’t rip the part then just use scissors! I didn’t think the product smelled bad either. I think people are being nit picky when this product really works after an hour of use. Anyways I followed the instruction to fold the mask over to not get the top of my foot (dorsal part) and I’m happy I did because peeling there I don’t think is needed. I didn’t think it worked at first. I started getting peeling around day 5 and from there more and more shed off. I wore flip flops one day and my feet looked like the feet of a 90 year old. The peeling gets all dry and it looks like you have a bunch of dry skin but it’s just the peeling doing it’s magic and the next day it’ll be peel-able. I would peel the dead skin right off- it doesn’t hurt. On day 9 I had so much dead skin coming off I could just rub it off. I had to peel a little harder on the palmar side of my foot near my fifth toe because I tend to develop hard calluses there. By day 10 after I took a warm shower (I think warmth helped so probably soaking would too) even more came off from the more callused areas of my foot. Day 11- my feet are so so so soft. My feet never feel like this! Like I’m shocked. I have very high arches so a lot of pressure is put on the outside of my feet, the heels and ball of my feet.. this means I get callused easily because of the constant friction. This mask took all that off! My feet look so nice! This product works and for the price it’s a steal!! No complaints here. I’m very happy with this product. I wasn’t paid to write this or anything. I just never found any product I liked so much to review it! 10/10

Happy with my nice, soft feet!
I'm back to re-write my review for this product! Originally, I was unhappy with the results. But after giving it more time, I would definitely recommend purchasing it!! I saw another similar product online, but I found this Purederm version that is cheaper and I feel more secure using Amazon rather than another company's product website. For starters, this product comes with 3 sets of masks so you can repeat the process 3 separate times. I'm a size 7.5 and the booties fit my feet with some extra room to spare. I used duct tape to close up the top of the booties around my ankle so that they would stay on and the liquid wouldn't spill out while I was using it. I let them on my feet for 90 minutes. I did one treatment, and didn't see any peeling results after 4 days. I did the second treatment a week after the first, and still only saw a small amount of peeling. I was very dissapointed because I saw other customers experienced an insane amount of peeling. I thought maybe my feet needed to be more extremely calloused in order to experience those same results for myself. This is when I wrote my original review and said that I would not consider buying this product again. I still wanted to use all of my treatments, so I did the third one a week after my second one. A day after that, I started seeing results. I can't say that my skin peeled as excessively as in some of the photos on here, but both of my feet ended up peeling completely. I was kind of concerned that I was going to end up with dry looking feet, but as my skin is healing, my feet look normal and feel much softer than they did before. I've been applying lotion and sleeping with socks on in order to make sure the skin is staying hydrated. I definitely don't recommend doing this in the summer time if you like to wear sandals, because your feet will look pretty scary during the peeling process! Otherwise, I am happy with the results and can't wait until they fully done peeling to show off my soft feet! Also to be clear, this process is not painfu at all! Aside from a tingling feeling while wearing the booties.

Worth the wait and the money
Listen. I normally don’t write reviews, but I had to comment on this product. Yes, I was initially skeptical, especially after reading some reviews where buyers shared the product didn’t work. I followed the directions and waited. On day 2, my heels were peeling. I soaked my feet after removing some of the dead skin and they peeled even more. Today, day 3, I woke up to even more peeling, removed it, showered and moisturized. Tonight, I soaked, and gently removed dead skin with a foot file and a pumice. My heels are smoother than they have been in a very long time and I am a runner, so you can just imagine what my feet have through over many years. This product worked very well for me, so much so that I ordered another one for future use. My advice? Try it, follow the directions, soak your feet, and wait. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful! You’re going to love your feet
Pros: It does what it says it’s going to do. Left me with super smooth feet. Skin peels on the top and bottom. Moisture even gets to all your toes Cons: This does t work the same for everyone. The booties need to be cut open, and the material is hard to cut is your scissors are t super sharp. The booties are a little tight at the ankles. I followed the directions to the letter. I had seen some of the other reviews, so I figured the reaction would very. I used this product on a Saturday afternoon, and my feet were super soft right after. This was because they had been soaking for 2 hours. By the next day, my feet were dry again. My feet didn’t start peeling until the following Thursday. I had soaked my feet 2 times before this, and my feet were soft, but not peeling. I had taken showers each day that week, but they were quick. Sunday night I took an extra long shower, and when I was done skin was just falling off my feet. The majority of the peeling happened Sunday night. The following Monday there was some random peeling. The peeling happens wherever the moisture in the booties touch your feet. This includes the tops of the feet.

Works well, hard to get into.
First of all, take a lot of these one star reviews with a grain of salt. Half of these people are complaining that the product didn't work, then mention that it's only been three or four days since they applied. This comes with three pairs, so I tried it with my mom and sister. We all soaked first, left the booties on for 90 minutes, and soaked every night after. I didn't see peeling until five days after, my mother six, and my sister three. My sister's feet peeled faster and more dramatically than ours, but she is a bartender and her feet get damp at work. For a few days before the peeling started, my feet were rougher and drier than theyve ever been. I guess it was because the skin was loosening up, but they looked terrible. My feet didn't peel the way they do in the videos, but the end result was the same. They peeled in small, flaky patches. I just soaked my feet in a hot water bath with some epsom salts each night, then rubbed them with a terrycloth washcloth. The peeling took several days. My mom's came off in big strips like the videos, but hers took about the same amount of time. My feet are very soft after the peel, but you can still feel a little bit of the callus. I may try another peel in a few weeks. I think I'm going to follow some advice I saw on a blog for a post peel regimen and use the Keefes foot cream with moisturizing socks a few times a week, pumice in the shower once or twice a week, and do a peel every three or four months. The pros to this particular brand of peel - cost. Three pairs are cheaper than one pair of the name brand. Cons - and why I gave three stars instead of five - the booties themselves are poorly made. They're this thin paper cloth and plastic stuff, and you have to rip them to get them open. It's extremely difficult to rip them exactly right, and we ended up tearing them in several places trying to get into them right, then having to saran wrap our feet to make them stay on because of the rips. They could easily have made them out of another material or with a precut opening.

Good but hopefully Great next time around
To start, my feet are severely dry, calloused, and just plain gross. I bought and used this foot mask about three weeks ago now. I wasn't clear based on the instructions if you were supposed to dry your feet after washing them and before putting the mask boots on or if you were supposed to put the mask on with your feet still wet. I read through the reviews here and it seems most people dried their feet off first so I did the same. The packaging is easy to open and so are the boots but I recommend using scissors to cut off the top opening to the boots so you don't accidentally tear off too much on one boot like I did. Also, be very careful as you put the boots on your feet because the boots tear down the seams very easily. I can't imagine anyone with shoe size 10 or up fitting in these boots without tearing the seam open. My left foot (size 9.5), being an entire shoe size larger than my right (8.5), managed to open the seam almost down to the toes. Shoe shopping is so fun... The directions say to leave the boots on your feet for 60-90 minutes. I have very sensitive skin and cannot use any hair removal creams for even the shortest stated times without getting burned so i was very nervous about leaving this foot mask on for the 60 minutes. Like most other reviews state, it mostly just feels cold. I also felt a sort of chemical heat but not very strong and I'm not sure which ingredient would have been the culprit. The best way I can describe it is like a very mild Icy Hot cream. Not strong enough to make me take the boots off prematurely. I took the boots off at around 55 minutes because I was antsy and worried that either I would get chemical burns or it would cause my feet to peel too much and too deeply, which can also be painful. So I rinsed off and dried my feet as directed. My feet started peeling by day 4, but only in a few spots. By day 10, most of the peeling had stopped, it never got as excessive or deep as I had expected based on many other reviews and graphic photos here. I still have all of my callouses and rough spots but they are certainly noticeably softened. I gave this 4 stars based on the boots being a tad bit flimsy and the end results not meeting my satisfaction, although it may be that I didn't leave the mask on long enough to do its job so I will be buying another mask and leaving it on for the full 90 minutes next time. Based on some other reviews, this is a product that may need to be used on a monthly basis, so I will update this review with results of my next use.
