Bought as the charging port in my phone is no longer working, replacing a non branded magnetic charger. I can say this Apple one is much quicker than my previous non branded one, granted not as fast as charging via Apple cable it’s still reasonably fast. Although it is relatively expensive as most Apple products are you get the quality you pay for and was cheaper to buy on Amazon than elsewhere. Typical sleek Apple design, not bulky. Phone does get a little warm while charging and I wish there was options to have a longer cable but besides that is a good charger. Magnet strength strong enough you can continue to use phone without worrying about it falling off.

If you're upgrading to iphone 12 series from any previous iphone, there's no need to purchase the wireless charger or if you want to explore this tech by apple, go for it. It depends if you want to purchase all the accessories by MagSafe or not. If you're switching to apple ecosystem, you can definitely go for it just like I did to immerse myself to the ecosystem. • The charging power is kind of fast but, from a person who has used oneplus fast charging for 2 years, it's slow. There's not very much difference between the speed of apple's cable charging and wireless charging. I mostly charge my 12 pro max before going to bed, mostly around at 3:00 AM, and when I wake up at 7:30 AM, it's completely charged to last a whole day. • The durability of the charger is still in question as I haven't dropped or done any mishaps to the charger yet. The base of the pad is Metallic and, the upper area(where the magnets are) is kind of a rubber- ish plastic finish which is good for gripping with the phone. • If talking about value for money, it's doubtful. You'll find various third party Qi compatible chargers in the market which are properly priced and might provide fast charging. In conclusion, MagSafe Charger is a controversial choice. If you want a wireless charger, you'll find them starting at minimum ₹1999. If you'll add ₹400 more in the price of MagSafe Charger, you can purchase a Magsafe Silicone Case for your iphone, which I'll prefer instead of the charger.
