Horrid smell, not gardenia

It's smells nice and it mixes well with my other perfume that does smell like gardenia, not even a little bit. I'd say it more Oud forward... woody? musky? I'm not sure how to describe it.I'm sensitive to smells so I can't wear many perfumes. I lean towards scents that smell like my favorite flower because I can tolerate that scent. Otherwise I go "free and clear" if you know what I mean.Since I'm always on the hunt for a true gardenia scented perfume, I decided to give this a try. It's nice. I can tolerate it. But I would be remiss if I said it smells like gardenia. It has a hint of a gardenia-ish florals and I'd reckon one might say the oud is a woody/musky scent as opposed to a spicy or fruity scent, but since I'm not a perfume connoisseur, I could be mistakenly misusing those terms.I'll keep it because it's nice to change things up from time to time, but I'm planning on combining it with a secondary perfume or essential oil.Three starts because it's nice. But I can't give it 5 starts because it's called "Gardenia & Oud" and I believe that putting the word "gardenia" first implies that it would be a gardenia forward scent.

Love this fragrance

I hate it. I bought it after reading so many positive reviews but the scent doesn’t agree with me. It’s not returnable so I’ll try to give it away to a friend. I’m so disappointed with the product.
