This is a very good quality Panama hat, made of genuine toquilla (a kind of Ecuadorian grass or straw). The weave is tight; the toqullia is of medium fineness, I would say. I have another Panama hat made of finer straw, and I find it is too floppy; the straw in that hat is so fine that it seems like a hat made of cloth. This hat (the one from Zing Life) is stiffer, and that is better for my purposes. Also, I like the brim to slope downward in all directions and not to be too flat. For the brim to slope that way, the outer edge of the brim must be slightly smaller in diameter than it would be for a flat brim. This hat is precisely made in that way. The brim can easily be rolled by hand to slope downward, or it can be rolled upward; it's a question of your preferred style. I ordered this hat in the wrong size (my mistake), so I ordered a 2nd one and returned the 1st. The process of returning the first was easy--a few clicks on Amazon and I got a UPS label to print. The refund to my credit card came the day after I dropped off the 1st hat at a UPS Store. The second hat arrived as promptly as the first. I recommend this hat and Zing Life.

The media could not be loaded.  I am impressed by the quality of the Hat, this a very good quality hat, is a piece of art, very well done. The color white is perfect for these sunny days. I ordered size M but they made a mistake and sent me a Large one. When I was ready to return it, I saw in one of the tags an explanation that this hat comes with a very delicate size adjustable sweatband for a customized fit, which I did and now the fit is more perfect. The hat is a soft and stiffer hat, additionally, the wide brim it's just like I wanted to protect my head, neck, and ears. It's very elegant for the beach, a summer wedding or for outside activities. I was a little concerned about the delivery because of the handling but it was delivered with care. I took a short video in order for you guys to see how they delivered. I personally recommend this product 100%.

This is a perfect hat for style and function in the sunny environment. Bought it for my honeymoon trip to Antigua. I have been getting great reviews for it from staff and resort patrons alike. The extra wide brim blends both eccentric style and shade.Make sure to measure your head accurately though, as the first order we got was the wrong size and too large. We had to be thorough when measuring and ensuring it's what I wanted.It's been keeping shape very well, just avoid the occasional tropical storms. It's also somewhat flexible but will most likely crack if you try to fold or roll. I'd highly recommend not putting it in a bag, or getting a dedicated Travel Hat box for it. I just wore it on my head while we traveled to the resort.Overall though, I am extremely happy with the hat!

This Hat looks nothing like the picture. I really wanted to love this hat but the quality was very poor and appears to be cheaply made. It did not hold shape when shipped either. Unfortunately the description to state that the hat is a wide brim. It is not. I have many hats and order hats from all over the world I decided to take a chance on Amazon. I have purchased another hat since receiving this one and it is much better in quality and much less expensive. The hat ordered that is better call $23. The price for this hat was far more expensive. With it being as expensive as it was my assumption was that it would be much better quality as the pictures showed on the model. It did not turn out to be so. I also ordered the largest size and received a different size than requested. For these reasons I cannot support the purchase of this item and will be sending it back immediately.

I've had several Panama hats. Some more "cowboy" and some not. I have a large head I guess, though my dad's was larger. I think I had it measured once as 7 3/4, or possibly 7 5/8's. I ordered this one as XXL, and since it is not a stiff hat, it feels "ok" But it really can't pull down tightly in wind, so it doesn't work well when windy, it flies off.It IS quite soft and finely made. It is also fairly light, which is nice in the heat. All in all, satisfied, though I could wish it were slightly larger.

I've had this hat since late March, 2021. It is quite a nice-looking hat, and gives good protection from the sun. That is why I have refrained from giving it only one star.The black band around the outside of the hat and the black adjustable sweatband inside the hat are not colorfast. About six weeks ago, they began to bleed out onto the white straw. I've tried a couple of things to remove the stains, but nothing has worked. Just be aware of this if you decide to buy this hat.Update: I contacted the seller, and they sent me a new hat immediately! Very nice of them to do that, and the new hat doesn't have the "bleeding" problem.

Excellent white color, soft toquilla fiber, fit as expected, adjustment pads included. Good quality for the price.
