I love everything about these handles. To start with, they are MUCH better quality than any others I have used. I think this is my third replacement set and the same thing keeps happening with the other brands: The lever portion (which is usually made of plastic) breaks after about 18 months of use. These have a metal handle and lever and are obviously much sturdier. In fact, there is more metal than plastic in these, unlike the other brands that have no metal except the return spring and the pivot pins. I have confidence that these will last years without breaking. Sure, they're a little more expensive than others, but far cheaper than the total I have spent on poorly made ones that break after 18 months. Not to mention hours of my life spent taking the doors apart to replace them. Installation was as easy as it could be...all interior door handles like this require you to pull the door liner out, but the fit was perfect and it looks great. I also like that it comes in powder -coated black. The others I have had (including the factory originals) were chrome and I like the black look a lot more. Operation is smooth and sure. It is great to have something that feels sturdy and to not cringe every time I open the door hoping this won't be the time it breaks. My recommendation: Stop wasting your money and time on cheaper handles. Get these and be done with it.

Direct replacement for the driver side door handle on my 2002 Tacoma. This replacement is actually made of metal while the original was plastic. I am hoping it is more durable. The door operates like new again.

Works great after I modified the lock cylinder slot. Key cylinder was misaligned and screw wouldn't go in. Other than that, fits like the factory handle.

The switch to metal is 100% worth it. These feel so solid and strong. I wasn't sure with some random brand, but these feel better than the scrappy plastic OEM ones that always fail. 10/10 recommend switching to these. The one negative is that the plastic clip that came with the handle did seem flimsy, so I used a different clip for that. Time will tell if these hold up or if some internal part breaks, but I doubt it will be the metal handle part, that thing feels bombproof. No more delicately pulling on the one specific corner of my old door handle that was getting progressively worse and worse, until it finally fully cracked and failed. The metal ones are just miles above in terms of quality. Fit my 2003 Toyota Tacoma 4dr V6 3.4L truck great.

Was tired of the Dorman oem replacements breaking after a year of use. Right out the gate these feel better when you open the door, they don’t feel cheap, they’re solid and open the door smoother than the plastic junk handles. Highly recommend

Great replacement. Feels secure and sturdy

The materials and finish for this product seem good(time will tell) It was tricky to install though, the new nylon retainer for the door latch release rod was a loose fit at the rod tip so the rod tip did not lock into position and retain it in the same way as the original so was hard to keep in place even with the the rod retainer strap in place and get the handle back in the install position, the rod tip did not lock into the retainer in the same way as the original and would disconnect when trying to maneuver the handle to the install position . Luckily, even though the original retainer was a little mangled from efforts to disconnect the rod, I was able replace the supplied retainer with the original which did lock the rod into position and was then able get the handle back in position to re install without the rod disconnecting.
