Perfect Fit and Easy Upgrade for Toyota and Lexus
Perfect Fit and Easy Upgrade for Toyota and Lexus This EPAuto engine air filter turned out to be one of those simple upgrades that makes a noticeable difference without much effort. I put it in a Toyota Camry V6, and the fit was spot-on—no trimming, no wrestling it into place, just dropped it into the housing like it was made for it (because it is). The construction feels solid, with a good sealing edge that sits snugly, and the filter media itself looks durable and well-pleated. The installation took less than five minutes—just pop the airbox clips, lift, and slide it in. Immediately after replacing, the engine seemed to breathe a bit freer, with smoother acceleration and a slight bump in fuel efficiency after a couple of weeks of driving. It’s not a night-and-day difference, but definitely noticeable if you pay attention to how your car runs. Compared to the OEM filter, this one costs less but doesn’t feel cheap. In fact, it feels like a good balance of affordability and quality. If you’re on a regular maintenance schedule, swapping it out yourself with one of these is a no-brainer. Something to keep in mind: double-check the compatibility list before buying. It fits a wide range of Toyota, Lexus, and even Pontiac models from the mid-2000s to mid-2010s, but not every trim. If you have a smaller 4-cylinder engine, it’s not the right one. Bottom line: A reliable, well-made, and cost-effective replacement filter that fits exactly as it should and helps your engine run a little smoother.

Easy to install and Great cost saver
This fit perfect. It was just two clips to flip down and they went right in. You have to make sure you put them in the right way, but after you fugure that out, it is just undo clips pull out old filter pop in new filter and close clips. This cost just under 13.00, and the oil change placed tried to charge 36.00! So, I bought one for my son's RAV4 too!

Looks like OEM and installs fairly easily in a 2010 RAV4
Unless your car alerts you that it's time to change the air filter, or the car dealership or whatever lets you know, this is now very easy to forget, compared to years ago. The service intervals are now much longer, and the ECM systems on modern cars can automatically adjust when there's less air to be had (because a dirty air filter is restricting things). It's also generally easier to replace many air filters now, because they're just held in with a handful of clips, and the housing is usually off to one side of the engine compartment. Anyway, in the case of the 2010 RAV4, the air filter replacement was mostly easy, and this aftermarket one replaced the existing one perfectly. I think it was actually a little harder to get the old one out. The only thing I had a problem with is that I knocked off a vacuum line that connects to the backside of the upper part of the air filter housing, and the car ran with this line disconnected, which caused some of the dashboard lights to come on. After I found the disconnected vacuum line and reconnected it, the engine ran better, but it took a couple of days before the dash lights automatically turned themselves off. ...So, in my experience, the trickiest part is to make sure everything under the hood is as you left it, after replacing the air filter. I guess I should add that I'm a little bit older, and my vision isn't as good, so that's probably most applicable.
