Good purchase for experienced artists looking to restock their toolkits, or beginners looking to learn new tricks. Well made, nice variety. Sanding stick a must-have addition, as we as the erarser/smudge putty. This is one of those Can't Go Wrong purchases if you have a need for it.

One or two stumps will not help if you are a multi crafter. You need more than one for charcoal, chalk, pencil, colored pencils, etc. And I like the old-fashioned sandpaper sharpener like the one I used in high school in (the 60's).It is the best for putting the finishing point on your tools, and sanding the used part of your stump down or pointing it for fine blending.Why buy one or two when a full set is priced so well? and will last you a loooonnnggg time!

I've been really liking mr. pen products lately, and this tortillon set met my expectations and more! Even the smaller paper stumps hold up well if you don't apply TOO much pressure or use them at an angle; I love that this set comes thoughtfully packed with a sharpener and a kneadable eraser. It's worth the price!
