This shampoo has a very clean smell and is very pleasantly mild. The conditioner is very mildly smelling also. These products left my thin aging hair feeling healthy and soft. I will definitely continue to use Plantur 39 products.

I am 63 and I was having a lot of breakage and thinning at the hairline. This product has helped my hair immensely. My stylist even commented on how my hair has gotten fuller and longer. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!!

I am a 45 year old woman with very thin, fine hair. My sister in law recommended this knowing that I'm always trying to thicken and grow my hair. I don't dye my hair, I don't use products in my hair aside from shampoo and conditioner and I am gentle when combing or brushing. I'm so mad at myself because I had finally found a product that works and was doing wonders on my hair to where people were taking notice - and I think I reversed everything I had done by trying Plantur 49 shampoo and conditioner. Since starting this almost 2 months ago, my hair loss has increased significantly. I've noticed it when taking a shower and when I brush my hair. My hair is back to being greasy by the afternoon and it never really feels clean. I leave it in for the 2 minutes it advises and still have had no luck. The kicker was when I showed my spouse a before and after picture and she saw how great my hair was looking - in the before picture. I'm bummed that this didn't work for me. I guess I should have read the bottle better - it says "Scientifically Tested" but says nothing of the results..

I have been using this product for several weeks. I’ve had very fine, thin hair that has gotten finer and thinner as I’ve aged, but I have never had dry hair. I noticed some reviewers mentioned this but as I’ve never had a problem with dry hair I didn’t worry about it. It is definitely drying and my hair feels more fragile. I will use this shampoo, alternating with my other regular hair products, but I won’t buy it again. It’s very pricey besides, which would be worth it if I felt like it improved my hair. I haven’t noticed any less hair fall, only more dry, fragile hair.

So long story short, My scalp has been itching for about a year and I found out the shampoo and some other of my hair products had DMDM in them which is (Formaldehyde that they use to embalm bodies with) and it also made my hair real thin. Well I threw them out and started using this. I have used it about once or twice a week. (I have naturally curly hair so it doesn't get greasy or need to be washed more than that). I've had it about a month now. My scalp doesn't itch at all!!! I'm hoping my hair stops thinning but it's too soon to notice if it is or not. But just the fact I went from an EVERY day all day of itchy scalp to NO itching is wonderful!!! I highly recommend this !!!
