Well, I have a very emotional, neurotic and dominant dog, who was barking on every other dog on the street. Also, our neighbors threatened to call a police because she was barking for hours when stayed alone at home.Before buying this collar I read a lot about similar products in internet, pluses and minuses of each model and for sure all the reviews of the different collars on Amazon. So I've chosen this one and happy with it.I live in Israel and didn't expect fast delivery, but I got it only in a week after I ordered.Inside the box there is a detailed instruction of usage, but I highly recommend to read more about anti-barking collars. The most important thing here is to acquaint your dog with this collar step by step, not to leave it on the neck for a long time at first, so to help him understand how the system works. And of course to take off the collar and calm the dog if he is scared of sudden shock.For out dog it took only a day to understand the connection: when barking - you get the disturbing feeling after that, when silence - you get dog's cookies:) I'm happy, it works perfect.

This product works on my pet. It does not hurt him at night. He expects for the collar to be on, and in the morning after we take off, he gets his treat. My dog is kind of a big baby, but this saves us all a lot of anguish with his barking. Of course, you could use it on him during the day if you wanted to we just choose not to. He is also in his kennel.

Got my collar but battery don’t work

Most things that I by on Amazon, I read the reviews and then purchase but I recently discovered that most reviews are fake.We have four dogs.. two aussies, portuguese waterdog, and a newfoundland. We have tried rechargeable collars for training and barking but our dogs are too smart for them, they figured out how to drain the battery. We switched to these collars for their barking and they work so well! They advertised they battery life as 3-4 months but battery lasts about a month and a half. It isn't a big deal to me because the battery are cheap for a two pack and really to switch out... I don't even have to take the collar off. There isn't a remote for this product. To get start all you do is turn the battery and put it on the dog, it works instantantky and they are waterproof. So you get peace and quiet rain or shine.

We have used petsafe bark collars for mutliple dogs over multiple years. This model is a waste. It does not respond to the dog barking no matter how frequently or intensely the dog barks. Our experience with petsafe collars has been great up to this one. We know how to fit them properly and how well other models work.Money down the drain on this purchase. It's a disappointment that a zero stars rating is not possible.

I'll be completely honest. I was very hesitant about this collar but had to try it out as my neighbors were complaining about my dog's barking when I left the house. Day one I wasn't sure I was ever going to use it again. It took a bit for my dog to figure out what was going on with the barking and subsequent shock. He'd bark, get shocked, get startled from the shock and bark again. . . to the point that he was yelping. I felt like a grade A - a-hole having put it on him. That said, I gave it a few minutes as I'd read online that if you help the dog understand how to get the shocks to stop by closing his mouth shut for a second, they'd figure it out. Well it did work and he stopped. (Mind you, this was a whopping 5 minutes but it felt like hours seeing my baby so uncomfortable). As soon as he stopped barking, he had it figured out and now as soon as he sees the collar he's silent. Even reading back on my review I feel bad about that first few minutes BUT problem solved. My neighbors are happy and he really doesn't even seem to mind having the collar on. 5 stars for a good product, 1 star for the guilt.

This product was recommended to me to help curb Sadie's barking. This may work on short haired dogs, but definitely NOT for use with long-haired dogs.

My trainer recommended this collar - it’s changed my life. It works and the best part is - there’s No remote! I’d already lost one collar with remote and it’s very stressful to be on constant guard. With this collar, just put it in and go!
