With the ability to time 4 operation simultaneously and even tell the time of day this has to be essential to anyone who times their cooking

Useful as a static display only
With the batteries out, the display is blank. With the batteries in, the display reads: "8:88:88". So, if you have food that you want to cook for 8 hrs 88 minutes and 88 seconds, stick the batteries in, wait 8 hrs 88 minutes and 88 seconds and then take the batteries out. Unfortunately, you have no way of knowing when that would be unless you time it on another device.To do so, I bought "dt7™ Digital LCD Magnetic Kitchen Cooking Timer" but then realised that the Zyliss timer was superfluous.My recommendation is to skip a step and go straight for the dt7 timer.

Good timer, could be louder.
The timer is really good the clock function is more useful than I thought it would be when I bought it. The multi timer feature is really cool and simpler to use than I had expected. Prior to this I had only used ordinary kitchen timers but I'm glad to say this timer has exceeded my expectations and overcome my initial misgivings.Having said all that the alarm could be louder, it is perfectly audible but if you are doing something noisy or have headphones on there is a chance you might miss it and that is all that is keeping this timer from 5 stars.

The new model of this timer is not as good as the previous one I purchased
The new model of this timer is not as good as the previous one I purchased. I thought the product was not as well made and the sound of the alarm is poor. It works OK but disappointed overall in the product.

A kitchen alarm clock ???
I don't want to say much.... It JUST looks nice but for me it's almost USELESS because the sound is inaudible... Plus the packaging was simply horrendous: the internal containing holder was open/broken...enough...

This one doesn't work
Doesn't work, no life in it at all, waste of time and money and now more time and money needed to try a new battery or return it. Simplest device in the world, it should just work.
