So Far So Good
This is my current tiny laptop solution. I consider it an upgrade from my previous solution which was the HP Stream7 with a Fintie keyboard/case. The advantages of the Flexx are that it has a full size usb (tested - works), a larger screen (much easier to see text and touch tiny buttons), keyboard firmly attached (opens stiffly like a laptop instead of flopping around, and an hdmi mini port (have not tested).I don't use it for anything too graphically intensive. I mainly use Word and do some internet browsing.Everything seems to work on the hardware. The keyboard, like most of its size, needs a modifier key held in order to produce an apostrophe. I get around this with an autohotkey script I made. The touchpad feels a little cheap, but works fine. It can be disabled with the hotkey combination: Fn-Shift-F9.To take the keyboard off, open to 90 degrees, put it on a solid surface, hold down the keyboard while pulling straight up on the tablet. The only thing I can find to complain about so far is that the keys on the keyboard like to be pressed in the middle. Occasionally I will lose a keystroke because I pressed the edge instead of the middle. Shouldn't be hard to adapt though.UPDATE:My "tiny laptop" is still in good shape. There are a few little things that bug me:The touchpad occasionally freaks out and moves around clicking on things randomly on its own. If I disable and re-enable it, that usually stops it.The battery life is just annoyingly short. My kid's Kindle seems to last forever on a charge. I feel like I'm constantly charging this thing. Maybe 4 or 5 hours on a charge, and that's just using MS Word.Other than those two things, I do really like this thing. And I can't really complain or dock a star. I knew when I bought an $89 solution, that I would have some issues, but it was what I could afford. One day maybe I'll get a Surface or something.

Great product with three minor flaws.
Things you need to know about this great little computer.1 You have to have good eyes or good glasses. The screen is smaller so it stands to reason that the stuff on the screen is tiny. It's like reading the small print at the bottom of a credit card application.2. The keyboard has keys that are hard to read. The lettering on the keys are a dark grey on black keys. In darker rooms it is hard to make out what key is what and in a well lit room the keys lettering has a shine that makes them hard to read as well. It wouldn't be a big deal if the keyboard was a standard one with all the keys in their normal pace, but to fit this keyboard to a small tablet size they moved a few things around. IMHO they should be white lettering on black keys.3. The use of an apostrophe requires the pressing of the function key while pressing L instead of the usual dedicated key. Slows you down when typing because you have to stop and try to see what keys need to be pressed. It's a snappy little machine, with a bright screen and the power of Windows in a small form. Great for on the go, but will not replace a good sized laptop or desktop.

Great for travel and still have the Windows based programs I use
Needed a Windows based tablet because certain programs that I need to use while traveling are Windows only. Programs loaded no problem, run smoothly and overall works great so far. About as heavy as my Chromebook though...mostly because of the camera that I didn't really need but couldn't find anything else with the features I wanted/needed for size and cost. Keyboard is pretty decent though I do have for turn off the trackpad to type because no matter what setting it's too sensitive and jumps my cursor when I type, but that's pretty standard of all laptop devices and how fast I type.5/28Random shut down while plugged in... not an update, no warning, nothing.... lost everything I was working on at the time and couldn't get it to reboot.... unplugged and then plugged back in... closed and opened tablet to keyboard before it would come back on. Not sure if this is an isolated case, a Windows glitch, or something that will be an issue, but only time will tell since this occurred after only a week's time and not constant use during that time.

A Deal Too Good to be True
When I first purchased the Nextbook I was not expecting much, especially when it costs around $90 with free shipping. The product shipped fairly quickly with excellent packaging. When I first started using the Nextbook, the first thing I noticed was how vibrant and sharp the display was. Upon comparison with my 2011 MacBook Air, the screen was much better on the Nextbook, which was incredibly suprising. I was very impressed with the product up until there were some noticeable problems after normal use. First of all, there were giant scratch on the screen which was very strange considering the fact that the tablet portion was never unprotected by the detachable keyboard, which would indicate the keyboard itsef was scratching the cheap plastic screen. The second issue I had faced after about a week of normal usage was the battery. Every day after about a week, the battery would only charge to about 5% less than the previous day, so after 2 weeks the battery would only last about a fourth as long as the previous week. After a month of continuos usage I had noticed that the battery would only charge to about 60%. About a two months after purchasing the product, I received the blue screen while I was in the middle of doing a Spanish project in class. When I got home I attempted to plug in a USB recovery image for windows, however I found out that there was no BIOS setting to boot from a flash drive. At that point there was pretty much nothing I could do to fix it because the laptop would shut itself off, then power back on only to be faced with the blue screen stating something along the lines of "Something went wrong". A helpful youtube video created by another Nextbook customer had said to unplug the battery from the motherboard then reconnect it, I tried that and I was faced with the blue screen once again. I am very disappointed and I do not recommend this product to anyone, unless you want a laptop that will stop working within 2 months of purchasing it.
