Dried Pitted Dates-Whole, 5 lb- Candymax

This is the 2nd large bag of dates I have ordered from this seller. The first bag was delicious and my hubby thoroughly enjoyed eating more than I did b\c he loves all kind of fruits. This bag of dates was disappointing b\c some (we are still snacking on them & keep wrapped up tight in the refrigerator) dates are super moist whereas others are crystal dry. And there appears to be more dry ones than moist. Paid $18 for this?!!!!!!!Next order, if there is one, will be placed with another brand and another seller!

Have not open package yet. presume tastes as it should. Am surprised that no storage suggestions, recommendations were included on or with the package. It is a large quantity, so clearly wont be eaten immediately. Some sort of package that dates can be kept in would have been nice.

Very good mild date flavor. I like to eat dates out of hand as a fruit snack. These seem like they would be better for cooking and baking. I have long liked dates, but they have always been hard to find locally, usually only at Christmas baking time. I recently bought some Medjool dates which I discovered are a better out of hand snack.

This diabetic likes to take just one and let it linger in my mouth. We also chop them into chips and add to cucumber (zucchini) bread. I have bought this product several times.

Getting dried pitted dates is getting harder these days. Was glad to find these and they worked well for the recipe we bought them for. Not overly sticky, as can be the case with most options from local grocery stores.

The taste was good but about 1/3 of the dates were very dry. Were in a generic plastic zip lock bag with a stick on label. Not a very professional product presentation.

Love these dates. I bought them to use as a sweetener for homemade grain and nut milks but my family has decided to eat them as snacks. I will buy two bags in the next couple of days. The dates keep well in a Tupperware type sealed container and they taste great. Enjoy.

Much better value than in grocery store, plus these are not chopped and sugar dusted.True, you buy 3 pounds, but these dates will keep almost indefinitely.
