Evans Drum Heads - Mesh Tom Head - dB Zero Drumhead, 10 Inch

Previously, I was using a drum practise pad that was just sitting on my snare, but it still felt very dead compared to the bounce from a proper skin. So I bought this, in the hopes I'd get the rebound - and yes, it's much better. Volume is obviously a bit higher than the pad, but as long as I keep the snare wires off, it's still not loud enough to bother others in the house. Mesh heads, and Centren low volume cymbals have revolutionised my practise, and my relationship with the neighbours!

I’ve had Evan’s heads before so I thought I’d be getting a quality item. I don’t play in a band, I just play at home a couple of hours a week. This head lasted roughly 2 hours before tearing. I expected a lot better

Good, much spongier feel than a real drum head, but essential for those lockdown licks.

Reducing sound from snare drum but moves around too much on drum .

Many reviewers note mesh heads have a lot of rebound - I couldnt tune this out. Also lots of web forum chat on risk to bearing edges - seems unlikely to me but not worth the risk on a decent kit

No complaints at all. Produces a surprisingly good tone and feels like it'll last a long time.

消音ヘッドは登場した当時に使用してみて、余り静かでもなく打感が良くないという印象があったのですが、Evansの消音ヘッドは適度な音量で打感が良く、練習様にはバッチリだと思います。 静かさを追求したい方はボトムを外す＆ミュート調整等が必要と感じます。

J'ai acheté ce mesh pour une batterie électronique Alesis. Fonctionne bien, mais ne réduit pas le volume sonore de la bête.

Live the response from these heads. I also use the Pearl Muffle Heads but use this one for my snare. Quiet and realistic in response. Will buy again b
