Connemara Marble Worry Stone

It's a pretty little piece of marble. It's warm, the veins are exquisite, it's comfortable to hold and it fits quite easily into a pocket. Even if it's a fancy little piece of dyed quartz or glass, it puts me in the mind of peridot but darker. If it truly comes from Ireland, then I have a little piece of an ancestral home in my pocket which makes it all the more special for me until I can actually get over to Ireland. The other reviews going on about it breaking if you drop it just send me facepalming, it's fragile by its nature. Either way, I like how it feels in my hand. If you google the marble itself, you get the same quarry as where this is meant to be from so.

I love these stones. I’ve given several to friends going through challenges who used them too. You can carry them with you or place them in your home. It’s a long standing Irish tradition that I have shared with my friends in times of need and worry. Excellent quality

Wish I would’ve gotten one when I was in Ireland but since I’ve been home, I just can’t stop thinking about what a wonderful place it was and while I don’t necessarily worry, having a small piece of Ireland with me is a nice feeling. This little stone is small enough to fit in your pocket and it’s really smooth and beautiful.

This thumb stone is absolutely beautiful. The stone I received is yellow-green to olive green, with flecks and patches of brown, black, white, and grey It is 5cm long, 3.5cm wide, and 6mm thick. It can be a tad difficult to rub if you have oily or clammy skin, but wipe it with a microfibre cloth, and it's much smoother. It came with a small, dark green drawstring pouch made from some sort of synthetic material. I carry this stone everywhere I go, and will likely purchase a few more. Please note: since these are handmade from genuine stone, you should expect to see some slight variation in size and more noticeable differences in colour and other external features.

This is a great little stone to rub and be able to concentrate on something when anxious. it comes with a little bag to put it in. My only complaint is it's hard to rub if your hands are clammy.

I ordered this stone to give to my niece, who is facing major surgery, as a source if comfort. While it is a beautiful piece if Connemara marble, the silly text on the back of the package was not at all appropriate as a gift for someone facing major surgertly.

Same as sold in Ireland but much more expensive.
