I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, but of course her 5 year old sister was in love with it and I’ll be buying this or another version of it for her for her birthday. Digging out the gems gets messy (it’s like drywall plaster) but it takes a lot of time and all 5 of us in our family enjoyed it, so taking a lot of time made it more worth it as family together time but also more valuable for the cost. So many things these days are all about the opening of the toy and that’s kinda it. This was a much welcomed difference. Highly recommend!

I do think these kits are a bit pricey however I still recommend these! My girls always loved the dig it up eggs that we had gotten in the past so I knew they would love these! Perfect entertainment for a nice outside day.

Lasts a while so great for the value. We started chipping away because it was taking longer than we thought and I cracked one of the pieces. So use caution if taking other measures than just using the wooden pegs

My preschooler and 1st grader enjoyed it! The kit comes with everything you need to dig and find the items. The items are very durable and a good size. I was happy with the quality of the items. We soaked the product and kept it in a bowl while we dug for the items. This helped to control the mess.

This is birthday gift for a little girl that loves science. Very glittery and bright and I'm sure she'll enjoy the little surprises throughout. I find it awesome that someone thought to incorporate more feminine products for young minds.
