Amazing Christmas pudding, it tastes just like a homemade one. Unlike most commercial puddings. the Tiptree pudding was not over sweet, you could really taste the various ingredients. Excellent re-usable pudding dish so good not to have a pudding in a plastic bucket. Well done Tiptree!

The product was tasteless...and as a Christmas Pudding cook, I felt most surprised as I could not imagine a tasteless one. Furthermore, the contents were not right nor was the texture. Maybe modern times invite cooks to make puddings without almonds. A broken tradition for a broken year. Not recommended

I’m a Brit raised and living in the US. I grew up on this holiday treat, paired with Bird’s Eye Custard! The location I now live in doesn’t sell any overseas goodies so I always take a chance on a brand ordered on Amazon. This pudding was (note “WAS”, because it didn’t make it to the holidays!) moist and delicious! I’m glad I ordered an extra incase it becomes hard to find nearer to the holidays! Love it!

I was, oddly, in the mood for a Christmas pudding in the middle of a heat wave, so I ordered this. My expectations were low, because it was pretty low cost, and the only one available this time of year. Boy, was I surprised.It's really good. First and foremost, it comes in a nice box, that even has a signature for the quality control person who checked it. Also, it comes in a real ceramic (not plastic) pudding tub, with an old-school cheesecloth cover. For years I've bought another brand that came in a cheap plastic basin with cellophane over the top, never again!They do their best to say, "If you microwave this, you don't deserve to enjoy Chrismas pudding" :-) The instructions really enforce the "You need to steam this in the traditional style, it's easy, set it and forget it for 90 minutes. They are not wrong.Came back 90 minutes later, took it out, sliced it up, and it was great. A nice flavor to it, plenty of fruit and the perfect amount of sponge to it. Definitely will get this again over the Walker's brand. It's well worth the 90 minute steaming time!!!

Disappointed in the quality of the product.Poor fruit content, and sadly lacking in taste.I will not purchase again, and don’t recommend.Sorry Tiptree but you have to do much better.

I am not a fan of this Christmas pudding because it consists mostly of glommed together crumbs. I didn’t catch a hint of liquor and there was next to no fruit. I always hate posting less than stellar reviews but I think I paid enough for this pudding not to be so awfully disappointed. I even made my own brandy butter to go with it. I had one serving and gave the rest of it to a friend who was going to attempt to make it more edible.

This Christmas pudding had a great flavor but there was something a bit too sticky in the texture for me. Literally stuck to your teeth. Shouldn't be this way.
