Simple and effective
I mounted this on the end facia at the peak of my doublewide for my DTV antenna. I screwed in the bottom plate first and then put the thru bolt in place that the pole swivels up or down on. The last 2 bolts/nuts had me concerned since I had to try and put them in while working over the edge of the roof and being unable to see the holes. They have to be pushed thru from the inside of the pole, with the nuts threading on the outside, and they're short, stubby little bolts too. They secure the pole at whatever angle you choose. Oddly enough, they went in quite easily, even though I couldn't see the process, only feel it by hand and see where the bolt came out to quickly thread the nut on each one. I'm not sure if I was lucky but then I had to be lucky twice since there's one on each side and I've got thick fingers. I had the whole thing up and my DTV antenna mounted within an hour, including ladder time. It works fine and the price was certainly right. Whatever your U-bolt size for the antenna you choose, as long as they accommodate at least the dimension of the pole, larger U-bolts work fine as well.

Works Perfectly for Attic Mount Install.
Works like a charm and all the hardware needed to mount is in the box. Caution: Pilot drill the holes for the mounting screws. They are quite large and difficult to drive without pilot holes. Also, use a socket to drive the hex heads rather than a Phillips head screwdriver (an option). The screw heads will just strip out. The hardware is not the best quality, but because they have a dual drive option, are acceptable. I had this mounted in a few minutes inside an attic. Works perfectly.

Needs better instructions
Does the job. Mounted in attic, easy enough install once I figured out what goes where. Instructions were kind of anemic. One of the side bolts to secure post position, had come with damaged/defective threading. Thought it was the nut at first, but tried all that came with it and realized it was the bolt threading. I always hand assemble nuts and bolts before tightening with ratchets to avoid cross threading the bolt. As there were only two bolts, one for each side of the post, this made using it a little tricky.

Good quality mount for very small antennae.
Solid mount. It was however, a devil to attach the arm once bracket was mounted in place, so do yourself a favor and attach the adjustable hole mounting screws before you climb up to put it in place. I kept dropping mine. They could have used screws that used nuts which did not require being placed on the inside of the arm mounting slot. The vertical portion on the arm needs to be a bit longer to accommodate antenna positioning away from the house.

Great Product!
I think this is a great product! Very sturdy, well built. I chose the 1.65" size without fully checking which one was better for my application....I should have chosen the smaller size (the Diameter of the Mount Pipe)...but it all worked out.I was very disappointed when I discovered that this came with absolutely no mounting hardware...that is ..screws, bolts, washers and nuts, etc. Granted I can't say I did or did not see that it was supposed come with that sort of stuff, to make it work! But at least a list of recommended hardware required for most applications of the product. That would have at least made it easier in choosing the appropriate lengths, widths, and types, etc.......most hardware stores have hundreds of thousands of different odds and ends of these things....what a mess.Anyway, that's why I only gave the product a 4 out of 5 star review. It was exactly what I needed just didn't come with any hardware to put the product to use!

Amazing results
Definitely as advertised. Easy to install and the streamlined design isn't an eyesore on the roof. Results exceeded expectations in performance. We're on the fringes of Seattle and we picked up 44 stations. Granted, most of them are local speciality stations but we have the big 4 and PBS so we're very satisfied.

Perfect Solution and good price.
Seems fairly well built for the great price. It has a little play once you get the angle tightened down....but nothing to cry home about. It suited my needs well for mounting a roof top antenna and I can guarantee that it wont be coming undone with the hardware supplied...unless you mount it wrong. Just make sure to drill pilot holes so that you don't damage the wood that you are putting it on.

NOT A GOOD MATCH FOR THE ANTENNAS - PAY ATTENTION TO DIAMETERS
While these was presented as a complementary item for the outdoor antenna the diameters did not match at all and I had to cobble together a pipe to fit this unit to the antenna. 1byone Adjustable Attic / Outdoor TV Antenna Mounting Pole Universal Wall Mounts / Brackets (1.65" Diameter Mount Pipe), 19" Arm Length, Easy to Install, Solid Structure, Weather Proof
