Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad (7th Generation, 8th Generation, 9th Generation) and iPad Air (3rd Generation) - US English (Renewed)

I’ve had this keyboard for a couple months now and it works very well. I’m happy with it, especially since I don’t need to pay full price. The thing I like most is that it works with my waterproof iPad case (which I need because I apparently like to drop my iPad in the bath and spill coffee on it). It’s not a perfect fit with my case because it doesn’t stay magnetized but it’s good enough and covers the front when the case is closed. However, that’s not the real reason I bought the keyboard. I’m a nursing school student and I take notes on my iPad and only wanted an occasional keyboard so I could turn my iPad into a substitute laptop and this was just the thing I needed. I have written a couple of papers on it and saves me from bringing my laptop to school, thereby saving my back. When I want to write notes on my iPad for class, I just take the keyboard off or flip it around like a notebook cover. It magnetizes onto the side of my case fairly well and even if I dangle it, it won’t fall off. This is a solid product, and for me, well worth it. The keyboard is responsive with no lag. There’s no complicated connection process. It came with the original Apple box and legit looked new. Typing on it is quiet. The keys don’t have a lot of bounce but they’re responsive enough. They might be problematic if you have larger fingers but it’s just right for me and I find typing on it an ease. I can’t speak for how durable it is because I’ve only had it a few months, so I’m crossing my fingers that it will last me until the end of the year. I would recommend it to anyone in school who doesn’t want to bring an additional laptop, but still wants a keyboard on occasion so they can type on their iPad and increase the amount of work it can do.

After having one of these Apple keyboards for 4 years, my old one finally stopped connecting to my iPad. I ordered a different kind of keyboard and had problems managing it because I like to use my iPad in my lap while I watch TV. I gave up on the other brand and returned it. I found this smart keyboard for a cheaper price, simply because it was refurbished. I honestly cannot tell that it's refurbished-- looks and performs like a brand new one! Love it! It's so simple to use. I like the way it folds up easily and makes a great case. And, when I'm using it, it holds together on my lap or any other surface. I also like the keys-- I can type quietly without making a lot of mistakes.

Thanks to the seller who responded quickly, even though the product came wrong at first, we are using it at a good price. Thank you The keyboard and pad work very well. It is also extremely light in weight, so it is easy to carry around.

Eventhough the keyboard did not come with the original box but seems to connect well and works fine.

This is the second time ordering this refurbished keyboard, and unlike the first (returned) order, this keyboard had like-new, pristine, ungouged keys. Much, much happier. Apple says they don’t make this keyboard any more, so finding a like-new replacement is a day brightener.

I purchased a refurbished Smart Keyboard cover that arrived in excellent condition. The keyboard functions well on a solid surface but may not be as stable on a lap. The magnets are sufficiently strong, allowing it to fold into a slim, portable cover. I don't mind the iPad's back being exposed since it's made of aluminum, not glass, like newer models. This design maintains a sleek profile. I'm also not bothered by the keyboard's proximity to the iPad, given that it's shorter for a trackpad. My main use for any iPad is note-taking, be it typed or penned, and for this purpose, this keyboard is quite effective.

Purchased for a 9th gen iPad and it works flawlessly! Came shrink-wrapped in factory Apple packaging and I think it's new old-stock, not just a generic refurbished returned item. I've used a few BT stand-alone fold up keyboards, but the convenience of this and tactile feel makes a world of difference. If you're used to a MB or MBA keyboard, you'll be able to just start using the Smart Keyboard without thinking.

When traveling by plane, every ounce counts when you carry a shoulder bag. I needed a lightweight keyboard and stand for travel, but didn't want to carry an additional 1.5-2 pound keyboard & cover for my tablet. Because the Apple Smart Keyboard is powered by the iPad battery, the keyboard never needs charging and is light and thin. I do need to note two drawbacks. 1. The thin, keyboard keys won't have the same haptic "click" a powered tablet/iPad keyboards. 2. The folding stand & keyboard don't cover the front of the tablet. You may still need to buy a cloth bag or case to protect your iPad. I bought a felt envelope-type cover, which is big enough for both the iPad and the keyboard and weights almost nothing.

Me atrevo a decir que este es el mejor teclado para el iPad que vas a poder comprar, incluso el teclado de logitech, al ser un teclado Bluetooth, tiene una duración de la batería de un año, y eso solamente usándolo tres horas al día. Este es el Smart Keyboard de Apple, es original y honestamente es nuevo, lo mejor es que lo puedes tener por menos de la mitad de precio de lo que realmente cuesta ($3,700 pesos mexicanos). El teclado viene en una caja genérica con la misma forma a la caja original y viene muy bien protegido, no tiene absolutamente ningún detalle y es muy fácil de utilizar, ya que no es Bluetooth, basta con solo conectar el teclado de forma magnética, queda muy cool, se ve y se siente como una mini Mac. El teclado puede doblarse en la tapa para poder cerrarlo y que no dañe la pantalla del iPad, el tacto se siente muy bien, muy agradable y es realmente suave al momento de escribir, hace un sonido muy satisfactorio que da ganas de querer escribir mas y usar el teclado para todo. Cuenta con muchísimos atajos y funciones para cada aplicación y son realmente útiles, al principio cuesta recordar tantos atajos pero terminas acostumbrándote. Ciertamente le da un peso extra al iPad, pero sigue siendo más ligero e igual de funcional que cargar con una laptop. Recomiendo muchísimo este producto y estoy seguro de que no te arrepentirás. Mi calificación final es de 10/10.

Estoy realmente sorprendido porque he tenido muy malas compras con vendedores terceros aquí en Amazon. En primera lo compré para mi novia, ya que ella tiene un iPad de novena generación y si utiliza un teclado. No podía gastar más de 3700 pesos mexicanos que es el costó oficial de este producto aquí en México. Decidí arriesgarme porque aunque era re acondicionado, el precio era muy alentador. ¿Cuál fue mi sorpresa? Que el artículo está en perfecto estado, hasta el ensamblaje es el Oficial de Apple, y la garantía de 90 días es una maravilla aunque espero volver hacer compras con este vendedor. El artículo es una maravilla y funciona al 100%. Muchas gracias por ayudarme a poder comprarle esto a mi novia como regalo.

Tenia mis dudas sobre este producto, era la primera vez que compro un producto de Apple Rea condicionado. Llego en buenas condiciones y en el empaque original, y a juzgar por el empaque, no se ve completamente nuevo, pero la funda/teclado está en perfectas condiciones. Aunque tuve problemas al inicio; ya había tenido este teclado, en esta ocasión, lo conecté al iPad y no escribía, reconocía el teclado pero no escribía nada. Tuve que contactarme con el soporte técnico de Apple y me ayudaron. Me dijeron que re iniciará una configuración del iPad y listo! Funciona a la perfección. Lo recomiendo perfectamente, sobre todo por el precio, vale mucho la pena, funciona al 100 y está en buenas condiciones.

Me costó un poco encontrar el teclado, ya llevaba varios meses buscándolo pero con este vendedor lo pide conseguir, es la versión en inglés americano, pero obviamente le cambias el método de entrada en las preferencias del sistema del iPad y asunto arreglado. Llegó súper rápido (aproximadamente 4 días) desde que hice la compra, al ver la caja y el contenido llegaron en excelente estado, nuevecito, los sellos transparentes intactos, estoy muy contento con el producto.
