Marycrafts Lotus Flower Buffalo Horn 7-Prong Hair Comb & Pin Accessory

The picture here doesn't do this item justice. Its so darn pretty, nicely crafted, and comes in a box fit for gift giving. Other than that, because I want to be helpful, I'll add this: it may not work with really thick hair - or extremely long hair that is thick when twisted up. But if your hair is thin (like mine) it WILL hold. And if your hair is medium thickness/length, you also should have no problem. The prongs are about 2.5- 3 inches long and the decorative top part is about 2 inches, and its very lightweight (will not pull on your hair). As for color: its marled (naturally swirled with color) and overall: really beautiful!

When I got this I thought it looked nice. I have only wore this about 5 times.. And it is separating into two pieces.. I do not plan to order this again. Very disappointed for the price and the description.

I have near waist length hair and LOVE this hair comb. It has 6 prongs and holds my hair in place with a few extra pins. Beautiful crafted, lightweight but very sturdy. I bought the dark color one..

It looks like the photos and feels about as solid as I expected, which is, not very. It is horn as stated, but that's not a really hard material, so it feels quite similar to hard plastic actually. Does not stay well in thin hair, but is fine for medium thickness.

I really like it. It’s a surprise when you get it because you never know the colors the horn will be. But, no matter the colors it’s beautiful.

I’ve used it about 5 times since I received it on May 28. Today, it starting to peel and broke some of my hair strands. I am very disappointed. I was going to purchase one for my mother but now I will not.

The comb is lovely, and feels very solid. The one I got is mostly black and the swirls are so subtle you wouldn't see them unless you were holding the comb. Depending on the angle you use it, it can feel a bit heavy.

The comb came as described. It is a beautifully carved comb. Its teeth are not long enough to hold my hair in a twistup. It would be nice if there were more curve to the entire comb. The ends of the teeth are well rounded and hard to get through heavy, curly hair. I need the teeth to be more pointed. And always longer. Longer holds better.
