Irish Breakfast 80 count Tea Bags (Pack of 1)

Disclaimer: not a food or tea critic, and I am "new" to tea after cutting back on coffee due to acid reflux. With supply chains disrupted, I am not always able to find a certain green-labeled Irish Breakfast Tea that's common here on grocery shelves in America. Barry's came up on a search on Amazon, so I decided to give an actual Irish brand a try. And how I wish I had done so before! The smell when opening the box is just wonderful, warm, and inviting. The taste, once steeped, is deep and flavorful, and will NOT turn bitter even when leaving the tea bag in the cup. For me, this is one of the best things about Barry's Irish Breakfast Tea. Since the tea bags do not have drawstrings, and I keep my cup on a mug warmer for a long time while I'm working, I end up oversteeping teas quite often. This may seem like a small, easy fix — why not just remove the tea bag, after all — but if I can continue my work without getting up from my desk and still enjoy a fine tea that will never get too bitter, then I'm in love. And as a sufferer of acid reflux, I can personally vouch after a few cups that this tea is not too acidic and is very smooth going down. So if you want a "set it and forget it" tea that won't be too bitter or acidic, yet still has a strong, smooth Assam scent and flavor, consider this tea. I can't recommend it enough. This is my new favorite breakfast tea. P.S.: Also, invest in a mug warmer!

Love this tea! If you like black tea such as English breakfast this is a real treat! Seems like very high quality tea. And on a cup per day basis, it’s very affordable

Barry's is the source of a delightful cuppa. Never again buying the mediocre American brands. Huge difference in taste.

I love Barry's tea, it's my favorite black tea and reminds me of Ireland. I've purchase the original Barry's black tea in the red box before here on Amazon. That is also very good and what I commonly run into in Ireland. This Irish breakfast Barry's is rich in flavor and makes a strong cup of tea. With milk it's so delicious and comforting.

This tea is very good, but for some reason it has been backorderd for 2 months. I've ordered this before with no problems.

Nothing like a good, strong cup of Irish tea to help what ails one.

Vero tè nero, forte

I have been fussy about my tea for many years and over the years have favoured Irish breakfast tea. As that is a catch all term I have treated many brands. I now but Barry's because it's my favourite.

This tea makes THE BEST iced tea. Boil the kettle, put 1/2-3/4c white sugar in a quart jar, slowly add (so the glass doesn't break) hot water, drop in 2 tea bags and let steep several hours. Keep in the fridge for iced tea concentrate! To make beverage: pour half the concentrate into a pitcher, add 1/4-1/3c lemon juice (I use concentrate) and top up with cold water and ice. Adjust quantities to taste. Can make more in a 2 qt jar...

This is the best ever tea bag tea. I love my tea and a nice strong cup of tea. I've tried loads of different brands and this is by far the best. I've stopped my search now for a strong tea bag tea as this is it.
