Much too small to hold up peonies when blooming.

I was hoping these could hold my peony stems propped up and not bending over when in full bloom, but they absolutely can't be used for that purpose. They're really short, and keep in mind that a large portion of them has to be inserted into the ground, so they extend above the ground level about 6" only. I don't think they're useful in a garden at all. Maybe if you want to use them for herbs or small seedlings in a plant nursery in a green house, but otherwise, gardeners should skip them.

My area gets a lot of wind and these supports help my plants stay upright. I am going to order a taller size too.

I have ordered this type of plant stick before and ordered more because I took grafts off of a couple of plants to make more and they needed help standing up. These plant sticks work well on many different kinds of plants. I would order them again.

These plant stakes are the perfect size for medium-sized and growing container and garden flowers, vegetables, and tree saplings. They are study enough to provide significant support, yet are easy ro use. They can be quickly slipped around a stem or group of stems to prevent drooping and allow plants to grow strong and straight. Pay attention to the length (height) that you need. The vinyl coating will allow them to last and be reused for years.

This was a "let's see" purchase and I am very happy. These are just what the doctor ordered to tame my 3 foot zinnias. I plan to purchase more for next growing season.
