A lot of light here.
This is a big light, that puts out a ton of light to help your plants to grow. I have been using this light for almost two months with excellent success. So far, I have only used this in the vegetative stage, but I will update after flowering.1) This is light is big and heavy. In the past I have used several of the small Phlizon lights, but my 3' X4' tent required at least four of them. This light literally barely fits (see pick) and I probably should have ordered the 4500, but I get complete light coverage with no gaps or bright spots.2) This light has no fan but manages to stay cool. The aluminum heat dissipators stay cool to the touch, which really surprised me, despite being in a small enclosed space. I do run a small fan, but it is probably not necessary.3) Output spectrum seems complete and certainly does a great job vegetatively.4) I have been running these at 60% power. My Kasa outlet tells me it is drawing 548 watts. Intensity of the light can be adjusted but it is an adjustment from 50% to 100% as opposed to 0-100%. Not an issue for most uses.5) The light is heavy at around 40lbs. Fortunately, the light has heavy duty eye hook to hang it, and the aluminum poles in my tent are strong enough to hold it. Phlizon includes nice hanging equipment, but it will take two people to hang it.6) This is a professional quality light that is well built and solid.7) Price wise, I would consider this an excellent value. Outside of Phlizon, I have used a number of LED light for saltwater reef aquarium, including Aqua Illuminations. Those lights are typically about 5X more expensive but much more tunable in terms of output and wavelengths of light emitted. However, that level of control is certainly not necessary for this application.I will add that I have used smaller Phlizon lights in the past. About half of those lights typically go bad after about 1-3 years of use. However, Phlizon has replaced them, but with a large shipping charge. So I would give their customer service an A. This one has a three year warranty, is much better quality build, and I have had no problems, but it still might be worth getting the Amazon protection.Overall, I would highly recommend this light.

This Thing Is Bright!
I've been using LED's for years now. When I first started purchasing LED's, I went to my local big box store and bought the most expensive name brand lights they had. However, after years of research combined with some very expensive trial and error, I realized more expensive does not equal better with grow lights. The components are pretty much the same across the board when you break them down. What separates Phlizon however, is their superior build quality along with their excellent customer service.I already own a hand full of the Phlizon "PH" series lights and they have all out performed my big box store lights. The bang for your buck with Phlizon is unparalleled. This time around, I decided to give the FD8000 a try. I took it out of the box as soon as it got here and set it up within 10 minutes. Super simple setup. I plugged it in and turned it on and OH MY! This thing is bright! My phone camera couldnt even capture a picture of it because its so bright! The coverage this light offers is insane. It can easily tackle a 5x5 tent, no problem. It runs super cool as well. If you run it below full power, it hardly puts off any heat at all. This light also just feels sturdy and well built. I have no doubts that it will last me a long long time.By the way, did I mention the price?!? You can buy 2 of these lights for the price of one name brand grow light. It's insane because all of the Phlizon lights I own out perform the name brand lights that I paid twice the price for! Phlizon simply can not be beat.Overall, I am super satisfied with this purchase. I doubt I will ever use another brand as Phlizon meets all my needs and exceeds my expectations every time.

Half the price of name brand
20+ years of legacy HPS growing and 10 years of LED growing. I've owned just about every single led brand on the market. Mars, vivo, viper, spider etc are all decent budget lights that will get you there but not even close when it comes to commercial led. My favorite high end over priced unit is made by Luxx. 600w =$2,200! Not a normal person option. I stumbled on phlizon by accident and actually thought it was temu quality at first due to ridiculously low cost. 2 years later...it's all I use!! The on/off switch fails alot but is easily cut and by passed with timer switch on unit. Average pull is 10oz per plant in 5x5 tent with 480w unit. Produces the most colorful buds I've ever seen. Same genetics under other lights..no comparisonUpdate: I just wanted to add another Pic of my most recent grow using only this light in a 5x5

This is a really good light and DUs what you need it’s really strong and has a lot of light spectrum it’s HD for shure I’ve had not had a problem with it so far cools pretty well and for the price it’s a really good deal the box was open when delivered but that could of been Amazon nothing was missing tho so I didn’t mind I just wish it worked with the Vivosun smart controller for the timer and all but w…e it’s a good light if your not sure if it’s what you need just do the research.
